I absolutely loved the „Valley to Sea“ tour in the afternoon and I can highly recommend it for experienced riders. Riders with little to no experience should book the beginner’s tour in the morning. Please assess your riding experience realistically, not only for yourself but also for your fellow riders in the group. We were luckily (and according to our guide a rare group of) all experienced riders and were able to tölt a lot, which would not be possible with beginners. Hanna was a great guide and she found the perfect horse for everyone in our group. The horses are well cared for, balanced and kind. They know the terrain and are secure in their steps. Thank you, Hanna, for an amazing afternoon! Be sure to also have a coffee and s piece of cake at the coffee house before or after your ride. Yum!

Unforgettable from the first step to the last. Joanna - our warm, skilled French riding instructor - set the tone: calm, clear, and safety-minded without killing the fun. Viska and Katla were a dream. Sure-footed, responsive, and gentle, they carried us from valley to sea with steady confidence. The Valley to the Sea tour delivers exactly what it promises: sweeping views, fresh ocean air, and that quiet rhythm you only get on Icelandic horses. We didn’t just see the Westfjords, we felt them. Þingeyri (Thingeyri) won us over, and this ride sealed it. Logistics were smooth. Pacing felt tailored. Zero stress, all joy. We stepped off the horses grinning and already planning a return. Book it. And please give our sweet friends, Viska and Katla, an extra pat from us.

What a great tour, and certainly one that we wouldn't get in America. It was a rainy cold day for our tour, but it was still loads of fun! We crossed a river three times which was pretty deep! And got to trot on a few of the straight aways. In America there is no way we would have done any of that.

So today I had the chance to spend some hours with Charlie, Wouter and Frida.

There is clearly many other wonderful people partaking in the busines(ses) they are running, but they are the ones I have spent the most time with.

The stable is really nice, neatly organized and the horses are really easy. Charlie the girl who took me on the tour told me a lot about the horses, their colorful personalities and happily answered all my stupid questions about horses and how life is around them.

The scenery where we were riding through was amazing also, there are some nice stroies about the hills around - which Charlie shared on the way - which made the whole experience pretty memorable.

Other than the stable they run a small coffee house - and calling it a coffee house really doesnt do any justice to the place itself, its the coziest little hut i have ever been to with amazing food, sweets, cakes, waffle and coffee! I would absolutely recommend to have something there before the tour and then when you are done and head back to pay, give yourself some time, take in the vibes of the place and have some treat on the side.

100% recommend taking their horse riding tour, it will be a great experience/memory and your money is going in the pockets of the...
