It is a pristine stretch of sand backed by turquoise water and lush forest. Radhanagar Beach is commonly called Beach No. 7 and it looks straight out of the postcard. Times Magazine has awarded it the title of the ‘7th best beach in the world’. Radhanagar Beach is one of the many highlights, not only in Havelock but also in the Andaman Islands.

Dotted with palm trees, the beach offers tourists a tranquil ambiance to relax and unwind amidst nature. Take a walk barefoot and relish the sight of the aqua waves brushing against the feet. How to reach?? Radhanagar Beach is located around 12 kilometers from the Havelock Jetty. the best way to travel is taking a chauffeured cab for families/large groups (self-drive cars not available), and two-wheelers for smaller groups (not during monsoons). It is one straight road and navigation is easy.

It is about a 9 kilometers ride from the market and thus cycling there is not for the faint-hearted. Also, there are not many cafes/stops in the middle. Public buses and shared jeeps are available but only at fixed timings. Ask the information desk at the jetty on arrival at Havelock. Alternatively, ask your hotel travel desk. Radhanagar Beach is regarded as the most popular beach in Havelock Island. The beach is ideal for relaxation and swimming. When it comes to a beach, no time is too much. But if you are on a short trip, 1.5 to 2 hours would be ideal. Try to reach by 3:00 PM and leave after sunset. ✅ Shallow & Safe Waters – Perfect for a Long Swim! Unlike most beaches, here you can walk almost 1 km into the sea, and the water level remains only waist or chest deep. The gentle waves make it super safe for swimming and floating around without worry.

✅ The Best Sunset Spot in Andaman! 🌅 Watching the sunset from the water was pure magic. The sky turned into a stunning mix of orange, pink, and purple while the waves gently kissed the shore. We spent almost three hours in the water, and the sunset was the highlight of our trip.

Facilities Available 🛅 Lockers, Showers & Changing Rooms: All of these facilities are available but chargeable. If you plan to stay for long, it’s worth using them to keep your belongings safe and freshen up afterward.
