Padmavathi Ghat — Attraction in Andhra Pradesh

The Ghats of India, it's Godavari river 🏞️ which flows by. Visiting in the evening 🌆 is like awesome, you can just check out the pictures attached.

There's boating point too.

It's operated by AP government only.

You can visit there and they have 2 options fast boat ⛵ ( ₹500 per person in 2023) and normal boat 🚢 (₹ 70 in 2023).

We took tickets from the counter itself and was asked to wait for 10 to 15mins ⌛.

The good point in the boating was they don't wait for the boat 🚢 to be full may be it's because being operated by AP Gov tourism, we were like 12 members and boat capacity was 40+ but they just started the ride.

We can see two bridges 🌉 old and new both having railway tracks in and out, while going under them it was really good and saw trains 🚂 coming and going it's was scenic view 🪟, can see the pictures.

They'll take about 20mins ride and will drop you at the bank of the river 🏞️.

This ghat is located nearby 1.8 km from railway station, which is beside banks of sacred River Godavari. At this ghat from 4 am there will priests for doing last wishes or last rituals to our relatives who passed away. For devotees there were also showers for who were not doing bath at River Godavari. For last rites we have to carry ashes. We have to bargain with pujaris or priests, which they have packages starting from 2000rs,3000rs,5000. But we can bargain till it comes to 1000rs. Because of bad weather, today they arrived late at 7 am,but usual time is 4am. Only few priests available today, then they charged me finally...

This ghat is easily accessible as it is located right beside the road, directly across from the petrol station.
