Shree Ramnath is a Divine Symbol of the unity of Hari (Vishnu) and Hara (Shiva). Shree Ramnath is a compound word formed by the unity of two words Raama and Natha. So, Shree Ramnath means the Lord of Raama. In another way Shree Ramnath also means the one whose Lord is Raama. So, the Lord of Raama is Shiva and the Lord of Shiva is Raama. Shivshankar drank the poison (Halahal) which came out during the churning of the ocean. His throat became blue and he started getting burning sensation. That sensation was soothed by the recital of Raama Nama. So, our Shree Ramnath is a symbol of unity of Hari and Hara and we should be proud of being Kullavis of such Daivat.

The Shree Narcinva Purush Temple is a beautiful structure in the olden style having a Mangalore Tiles roof accessible by a flight of stairs to the North of the main Temple by the side of Office Block. This Purush is believed to have a direct link to Shree Ramnath Temple as its installation took place Shree Siddhinath is the fifth Deity in the Shree Ramnath Panchayatan. Late Shri. Narayan Bhaskar Nayak, in his book on our Devasthan says, “Many call Shree Siddhinath as “Shree Siddhanath”, but as this is Shree Ganapati, this deity should be addressed as Shree Siddhinath. On Vinayaki and Sankashti, devotees worship Shree Siddhinath with durvas, modaks Shree Kalbhairav is the most important amongst the eight Bhairavas. He is the overseer of time, the protector of travellers, the Kotwal of Kashinagari, the destroyer of sins, and the protector of the Worlds. In the Skand Puran, Shree Kartikeya tells Maharishi Agastya, the Divine Legend of Shree Kalbhairav. Once, there raged a celestial war Shree Betal or Shree Vetal is the mighty chief of Lord Mahadev’s Bhutaganas. The Protector of his worshipers from all evil. Shree Betal, Shree Khanderai, with a sword in one hand, and a shield in another; Rudramala across his body and a crown of cobras on his head. Known as Agio Betal, the Agio explained The Goddess Kamaxi is a form of Tripura Sundari, who is the universal Mother Goddess. In the Lalita Sahasranama, we find a 1000 names assigned to the Goddess Tripura Sundari, and one of them is Shree Kamaxi, which means, “One with beautiful eyes”,or “She whose eyes awaken desire.” Legend has it that she had to n South Goa, in the idyllic surrounding of Rivona, live the Dravid Brahmins named Bakhle, Totekar, Korde and so on. In ancient times they worshiped their goddess Shree Shanteri in their green and beautiful village. One night one of these Brahmins had a dream in which the Goddess asked to be taken to Lotoulim When Shree Rama returned from Lanka after achieving victory in battle with Ravana, he crossed the straits and set foot on the soil of Bharat Varsha. Amidst the jubilations, the Rishies noticed Shree Rama strangely quiet and pensive. To their concerned query, Shree Rama expressed his unhappiness over killing Ravana who was a Pulastya Brahmin Shree Laxminarayan is Lord Vishnu with his consort Shree Laxmi. Worshiping both together is the key to attaining a full life rich in both the spiritual and material senses. Worshiping Lord Laxminarayan destroys pride and delusion. He is called as the Ana-adi, the one without beginning or end, the one who is beyond...

'Lord Ramnath' incarnation of 'Mahadev' .I hope all have understood and felt how the place will be.

Obviously , a place one can feel the inner peace and positive energy. No matter how the person is.

Huge place , with clean and refreshing surrounding , well maintained and decent.

Committee members are very decipline , kind and coperative.Halls for celebrating different occassions re available on rent basis , prior to advance booking.

Located away from Ponda City , in a village near Kavlem. Place is also being known bt the name 'Ramnathi'. Is very peaceful and cool.

I recently visited Shri Ramnath Devasthan in Bandora, Goa. It was a deeply peaceful experience. This temple sits in a quiet area and offers a calm environment perfect for sitting, meditating, or just enjoying some quiet time. It is dedicated to Lord Ramnath and has a positive, spiritual atmosphere. You can feel the divine presence as soon as you enter.

The temple's architecture is traditional and simple. It features beautiful carvings and a soothing vibe. The idol of Lord Ramnath stands out, and the rituals performed here are done with great respect. This respect enhances the spiritual energy of the temple. The lush, well-kept surroundings add to the tranquility of the place.

What I loved most was the peaceful energy that fills the temple. It isn’t overcrowded. Visitors can quietly meditate or reflect in solitude. The priests are friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for everyone.

If you're in Bandora or nearby, I highly recommend visiting Shri Ramnath Devasthan. It’s a hidden gem in Goa, offering good vibes and a chance to connect with the divine. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind, meditate, and soak in the...

Our kuladevatha Ramnath Santheri Kamakshi 🙏🏻 Blessed to visit the place. Legend says that the ancient temple of Ramnathi or Ramnath was established in 3000 BC, when Lord Rama was returning to Ayodhya after defeating and killing the Brahmin king Ravana. It is said that Rama was deeply troubled by the thought that he had to kill a brahmin in order to win his battle against evil and wanted to repent for the sin, for killing a Brahmin was considered the greatest of all sins in ancient times. It is said that Rama built a Shivalinga and started praying to it, he prayed for forgiveness and seeing his dedication, Lord Shiva granted him an audience and asked him to head to Gorakhnath in order to make amends. The Ramnath temple has since been believed to be a holy place where the powers of Rama and Natha (Vishnu and Shiva) came together to become one. The temple was originally built in South Goa's Loutolim (Salcette) and was later shifted to the present location Ponda to prevent it from being demolished by the Portuguese

Shree Ramnath Devsthan, Ponda: A Peaceful Spiritual Retreat Shree Ramnath Devsthan in Ponda, Goa, offers a serene escape from the bustling tourist areas. This ancient temple, dedicated to Lord Ramnath, is a haven for those seeking spiritual solace and connection. The temple's architecture is simple yet elegant, reflecting the traditional Goan style. The peaceful ambiance within the temple is conducive to meditation and prayer. The main deity, Lord Ramnath, is believed to be a unique representation of the union of Shiva and Vishnu, symbolizing the harmony between the two supreme deities. While the temple may not be as widely known as some of its counterparts in Goa, its understated charm and spiritual significance make it a worthwhile visit. The absence of large crowds allows for a more intimate and personal experience with the divine. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to connect with your spiritual side, Shree Ramnath Devsthan is definitely worth exploring.

My Kuldevta temple. Very auspicious place for Goud Saraswat Brahmins. Lodging within temple complex. Feels divine at every part of the temple. Sarva seva is something that gives full satisfaction of serving God. Shanteri, Kamakshi, Ramnath and Laxminarayan are the main deities in the beautiful Ramnathim temple, Goa. Kalbhairava, Betala and Nagdevata are also in a beautiful shrine in the temple premises. Evening aarti, bhajan, seva, prasad feel very divine in this serene atmosphere. You have an option to pray for your ancestors here with yearly pooja and prasad delivered to your doorstep. Do enquire at the office and participate in sevas of their Lordships.
