Awesome, spacious, spread out, greenery, woody, stony, water-body all over! You are nestled amidst nature and that ambience envelopes you with pleasantness and calm! Metro train is a boon to reach this place faster! Yelechenahalli is the final stop on one end of the green line metro that can spare the Bangaloreans all the headaches of reaching as close to this venue. As you come out through the "Jyothi Kendriya Vidyalaya" exit, you may call for a taxi that may charge you about Rs110/- to reach the destination, which is about 5 kms from this Metro Stop! We were attending a wedding here and the hosts were very thoughtful of arranging number of Cabs to pick up the guests from this Metro stop! Hence the enormous distance was not a put off! As soon as you reach inside you will see good space allocated for parking of vehicles. The ethnic ambience strikes you at the very beginning with the Entry- door decorated so well with flowers and an equally well decorated brass-idol of Ganesha sitting on a stone pedastal, with a huge rangoli-design in front of it! Then a long curved Stony pathway with stony steps slowly leads you through the Office on one side and a huge pond canopied with a huge tamarind tree on the other side, to the main 'mantap' that is very tastefully set up with multi-coloured clothed tent-like-domed structure! You see such multiple structures spread all over the venue to hold different rituals of the wedding! Each Mantap is wow-inspiring! There are many stone built covered counters that can serve various refreshments like variety of juices, small snack items, ice-cream and candies and hot beverages like coffee and tea. There is a 'jhoola' hung under another tree, with floral decorations, for the wedding ritual as well as for the guests to sit and swing themselves relaxedly as they sip a cup of juice from one of these refreshment-counters! Next is another huge Mantap erected and very easthetically decorated for wedding Reception with a vast space in front where round tables and cushioned chairs are arranged for the dinner party. Another structure beside it can act as a dance-hall with music system well in place. Kitchen and a dining hall that can seat about 150 people at a time, is beside this venue. Also outdoor Buffett dinner can also be arranged here. There are several rooms and villas tucked away from these venues for the guests to be accommodated peacefully, away from the din of a wedding ritual! The rooms have a colonial look with high roofs, wooden cots and beds covered with crisp linen, windows with coloured glass panes! Attached are huge bathroom with modern toilet fittings! The villas for the VIP guests are once again very tastefully decorated and furnished from outside and within too with cupboards and fridge and number of sofas for relaxation. These villas are wifi enabled to facilitate usage of modern communicative gadgets! There are separate restrooms for the use of other guests. The venue, a mix of old n ethnic n the contemporary structures can host a variety of events like, Corporate meetings and Team-building activities, Weddings and Upanayanam and other such culturally rich events, Film-shootings or just as a weekend-getaway resort is for the fat-budgetted people who can afford to hire an entire Resort to host their functions at this most-talked about Namma Bengaluru Venue! There are a few issues, flip-side to this great Venue. Since all events are to be arranged in open spaces, any unexpected Bengaluru rains can be a big spoil-sport! The recent rains, though they spared this wedding celebrations, heavy downpour that night flooded the whole venue and the next morning the hosts could not vacate the rooms in the morning as they had planned. They found themselves in knee-deep waters and could not have negotiated through as the ground is in different levels and stone steps everywhere, which could not be seen through the muddy waters! They waiting till late in the morning for the water level to recede and then only could go out! Alternatives should be thought of.

They say marriages are made in heaven, but if you want one that feels like heaven on earth, The Tamarind Tree is the perfect place to make it happen. We recently hosted our daughter’s wedding here, and it was an unforgettable experience—far beyond what we had imagined. Every moment was magical, and every detail was taken care of with such perfection that we are filled with gratitude and appreciation. The venue itself is breathtaking. The traditional architecture, lush greenery, and serene ambiance create a timeless charm that instantly makes you feel special. It was exactly what we were looking for—a space where we could bring together our loved ones, house them comfortably under one roof, and celebrate without the stress of navigating Bangalore traffic. With accommodations for up to 130 guests, everyone felt at home, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The hospitality we experienced at The Tamarind Tree was unparalleled. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Special thanks to Mr. Vishwajeet, the sales leader, who was our guide from day one. His patience, flexibility, and genuine desire to meet our every need made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. He worked closely with us to ensure every requirement was met, no matter how small. A special highlight of our experience was working with Tales of Tradition (TOT), the in-house event management team. Choosing them was easily the best decision we made. They handled every single detail of the wedding, from decor to scheduling, with such precision and creativity that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The venue was transformed into a dreamland, with stunning decorations that exceeded all our expectations. TOT’s expertise in working with the venue shone through in every aspect, making the entire event flow seamlessly. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Deepesh from TOT, whose dedication and hard work made all the difference. He spent countless hours understanding our daughters desires, guiding us through every step, and ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. From early mornings to late nights, he was there, managing everything with grace and a smile. His commitment allowed us to focus entirely on enjoying the celebration and spending time with our guests—a priceless gift. Mr. Vinayaka also deserves special mention for his incredible attention to detail. He made sure every guest was comfortable, every request was addressed promptly, and even went out of his way to assist with the marriage registration process. His warmth and dedication left a lasting impression on everyone. Thanks to The Tamarind Tree and the TOT team, our daughter’s wedding was nothing short of a magic. They created a celebration that was not just beautiful but also deeply personal and memorable. Every one left with fond memories, and for the bride and groom it was an experience they will cherish for the rest of their lives. Words cannot fully express our gratitude to the entire team for their hard work, creativity, and thoughtfulness. It truly was a wedding we will never forget.

We got married here recently & we highly recommend this place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, spacious & serene. Each & every corner of the venue is extremely well kept & it has the vibe of getting married in an ancient South Indian Temple. The venue looks much better IRL than in photos. Each & every room is so well maintained that it catered to all our guests from different backgrounds. Even though the venue is absolutely flawless, the highlight of this place is its people. The staff are extremely patient, generous, creative & professional. From the security guards at the front gate to the top management, they are available to cater to your every single need. Vishwajeet was our point of contact & I cannot stress how easy he made the entire process for us. He is extremely friendly & kind and made my whole family feel super comfortable & welcomed. We barely had to even interact with the staff as everything was already structured & organised which saved alot of time for us to focus on other things. Vishwajeet & Jeevan Jyothi made sure that despite there were several delays from our end , everything was done ontime which we will forever continue to appreciate. We hired the venue for two days & the whole wedding experience was pleasant, calm & peaceful. This venue is suitable for any kind of event due to the multiple eclectic spots availabile within Tamrind Tree. We are so excited that they are opening up a restaurant inside the venue as we can keep visiting our special place which I think is quite rare & unique!

I had the wonderful opportunity to host our 2 day wedding event at the Tamarind Tree Bangalore in Dec 2024. Vishwajeet and team were a delight to work with.

I live abroad and had only seen a youtube video of the property before finalizing and let me tell you that property looked exactly the same or more beautiful than what I had seen in the video. Every part of the property exudes calmness and serenity. The villa at the property is nothing short of breathtaking. We visited other heritage venues in Bangalore as well but nothing comes close to the Tamarind Tree, its ahead by miles when compared to the other venues not just in beauty but even in management and hospitality. They do so much to keep maintain the property everyday and you will be able to see it from the first day you arrive.

My family, who are not local to Bangalore, stayed at the property for three nights, and they were thoroughly impressed with the hospitality and service. Vinayak, the on-site manager, was always available to assist us with any queries or requests. We received prompt attention whenever we needed it, whether it was for cleaning, maintenance, or any other issue. I called for cleaning multiple times in the bridal suite during my stay and received the quickest assistance. They even helped me wash my haldi outfit and dry it.

Of course, no venue is perfect, and we did encounter some minor issues, such as hot water running late in one of the rooms or hand wash getting over in another. However, the team's willingness to help and their prompt response made all the difference. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

In conclusion, I highly recommend The Tamarind Tree to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable wedding venue. Its natural beauty, stunning architecture, and exceptional service make it the perfect choice for your...
