City Forest — Attraction in Chandigarh

Entry timing - 05:30 am to 12:00 pm 03:00 pm to 06:30 pm

I expected much more when I saw main gate entry but it's simple forest which have Indian Cobra, wild boar, bird, Wild Peacock, samber deer, Indian pangolin, Emblic Tree (Ambla), Katha tree, Red wild Fowl and many more

Advantage :- This place is good for morning & evening walk so that people feel relaxed and calmed and destress that's it.

Disadvantage :- Not developed for tourism point of view. It's just nature trail lake...

Awesome place for nature lovers, bird lovers. Place where u can come with your family for watching birds of different species and for enjoying walk in a Forest that is open for public. For bird walk, need to take permission from forest department and for walk inside you can come at a given time (5:30 am to 12 noon and then 3 pm to 6:30 evening) on a daily. To get knowledge about birds, it's something u can come along with your kids, so they also know something...

Good experience for kids though it was pretty crowded on Sunday probably also it's just inaugurated, we have to Skip one of the area with aquatic birds. People were jumping lines and it could have been managed more systematically. However it is worth going. I recommend go there...
