Great place for your morning walks and also for bringing children or family for a time to unwind and connect with nature. The long undulating walkway with a bridge is a great place for your healthy morning walk. The lake at this time (mid August) was very sparse, dry mostly and some water in a part. It would be great if there is more water, but then it is an artificial water body not a natural one, so not sure one can complain much. Saw some ducks, a knob billed duck, some other birds too. Made my day. ๐๐๐ The park is well maintained and clean. There is a good outlet for your food and beverage options called President's Lounge. Opens around 1030 or 1100 am and stays open till late. Am told that it is quite popular although affected a bit by the pandemic. There is a tea stall opposite to the park and a impromptu stall set up by an entrepreneurial young guy who sells some good soup for INR 20 per cup.

Suryajoti Lake is a gem in Sector 1! The well-maintained garden and walking track with special cushioning make it a pleasure to stroll around. The area is adorned with beautiful sculptures, and there's a fantastic play area for children. You can enjoy delicious ice cream and thick shakes from the nearby shop, and the gazebos provide a perfect spot to relax. Morning walkers can savor fresh vegetable soup, and the green grass is simply awesome. This spot is perfect for fitness enthusiasts as many people come here for yoga and walking. The lake is accessible to specially-abled individuals, ensuring everyone can enjoy its beauty. Additionally, there is ample free parking space, making it very convenient to visit. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable experience!

It is a wonderful place to spend time with someone or alone too. There is beautiful centre lake and garden around the lake looke like a heaven. Also entrence of garder has a beautiful cafe and it's acoustic show is mesmerizing. For child there are preety playing area with rubber matting and newly opticals. Moreover senior citizen can spend time with old age group at sitting are it this place. For Couple photography, pre-wedding shoot short films, memes people also birthday celebration, special occasions celebration and college gang like this place for them creations and make them memories. Overall this garden have many reasons to visit it and also garden have big story of its memories. You has to visit once you will be never forget in your life moments.

The walking track is about 700 m. and can be covered in about 3-5 minutes. So if you want to walk interrupted for 30 minutes or so, give a try. You will feel refreshed. If tiered after a walk and longing for rest, you can sit and relax. If you want to exercise - ample space. Ideal place to perform solo yoga. If you want to practice yoga in a group, there are group of people who enjoy practicing yoga early morning till sunrise. Less disturbance keep you focused on your workout. I am in love with this park. The toilets are maintained now as compared earlier. Give a try with friends and family members. I have seen lot of get togethers at this place. It is located in sector 1 of the Gandhinagar city, so also known as sector 1 park.
