This is a very great option for your early morning walks, outings and evening walks too. It has long winding trails for walks, very well maintained and good landscaped lawns and all around a very good manmade lake. It is maintained by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation. It has segregation into playground and activities zones. The playground has basketball and badminton courts. They are also equipped with children's play items like slides, swings and seesaws. There are lots of birds - ducks, ibises, pigeons, lapwings, stilts, kingfisher, darter bird, migratory and other local birds. There are langur monkeys, squirrels, occasional nilgai and snakes too that have made it a regular home. There is a turtle inside the lake too. There are gazebos and benches for people to sit comfortably and have a good time.

Great place for your morning walks and also for bringing children or family for a time to unwind and connect with nature. The long undulating walkway with a bridge is a great place for your healthy morning walk. The lake at this time (mid August) was very sparse, dry mostly and some water in a part. It would be great if there is more water, but then it is an artificial water body not a natural one, so not sure one can complain much. Saw some ducks, a knob billed duck, some other birds too. Made my day. 😊😊😊 The park is well maintained and clean. There is a good outlet for your food and beverage options called President's Lounge. Opens around 1030 or 1100 am and stays open till late. Am told that it is quite popular although affected a bit by the pandemic.
