A flower show is held every year on the banks of Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad which is very beautiful. The flower show which is held this year 2024 is very amazing and beautiful. Place :- The flower show is on the banks of the Sabarmati River between Jamalpur Bridge to Ellisbridge. Geetamandir is located at a distance of 3 km from bus stand, 6 km from Kalupur railway station, 14 km from Ahmedabad airport. Date and Time:- Flower show is held every year from 30-12-2023 to 14-01-2024. Timings: Open from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM Ticket Rate :- Monday to Friday is Rs.50/- and Saturday, Sunday is Rs.75/- per person. Children below 12 years are free. The entry ticket of the flower show can be taken from gate number 1 or the ticket can also be taken by scanning the big scanner outside and downloading the application. There are gates numbered 1 to 4 to enter the flower show, then you can enter from any gate after taking the ticket. There is also separate parking for 2 vehicles and 4 vehicles for persons visiting the flower show. A flower show is made up of many different types of flowers. It showcases extraordinary varieties of flowers like petunias, dianthus, chrysanthemums and more. This year's main attractions include famous sculptures like the Statue of Unity, Vadnagar's Kirti Torana and the New Parliament Building. Kids can enjoy sculptures like cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse, Pokemon, elephants, deer, horses. The 400 meter long flower structure made of 7 lakh young trees is remarkable. The entry fee for the flower park is affordable, with a 50/- per person fee for entry on weekdays and a 75/- per person fee for entry on weekends. However, if you plan to visit from the west, the Atal Bridge, and the Flower Show, the fee increases to 105/- per person. For kids under 12 years old, the entry is free. (2024) I highly recommend making an entry from Gate No. 4, as this is the only gate that offers a full view of the flower show. Visiting between 3-4 pm is also a great time to enjoy the brightening night view with many lights and sounds. There are many stalls available for purchasing flowers and plants, as well as food stalls and water bottles. The food was delicious and at a reasonable price, and the jugs provided a convenient place to fill up your bottles. Overall, the experience was great, and I highly recommend visiting the Riverfront Flower Park with friends and family.
