It's a very holy Hindu temple for lord Shree Hanuman dada. The King of Sarangpur is very nicely made statue.
It's my personal review, others may differ. Pros: Its an old holy temple of Hanuman dada, must visit for all Hindu devotees. It is very famous for the divine powers of lord Hanuman. The place has free food for all devotees, its tasty and hygienic. #There is nice open grass field near the statue, where you can sit with your family, relax and enjoy the mesmerizing view of Hanuman dada. The weather in evening is very pleasant. There is no parking or entry fees for visit. It has a in house store where you can buy merchandise and devotional items for nominal rates.
What I didn't like, They have done the Tilak of Swaminarayan Sampradaya to Hanuman Dada's statue and also in the temple, it's known to the whole world that Hanuman dada is a devotee of Lord Shree RAM, and he has obviously not accepted or converted his faith to Swaminarayan Sampradaya, so changing such important sign of faith of Lord Hanuman dada must not be done for some personal gains.
Areas of Improvements: People in India does not deserve anything for free, due to this and poor management, spoiling the place if continued. The biggest culprit here are the people, but people cannot be controlled without strict restriction from management.
There is not good maintenance mainly because of the free entry. As people tend to take everything granted when given for free. There is no check at security or no restrictions on entry for cars, because of the same people parks without following proper rules, wasting parking space. feels unsafe for the car sometimes. Parking could be charged, and some regulations should be put on place. There are people eating on grass, sleeping, throwing food, plastic bottles, tobacco pouches, packs of potato chips etc. this will spoil the place in long run and should be stopped by management. Some people smoking at the same place and when pointed out, started arguing. Though vehicles are not allowed to take inside after parking, many people were taking it till the entry of guest house, making unsafe for kids, some people even drove the bike between the walk path in grass. The guest house of the temple charges almost the same amount as outside but it's getting projected as donation, rather than charges of room. One Lift was not working, so other lift was overcrowded, more cleanliness is needed. Many people who could not find the room were sleeping in the open grass area in night, this downgrades the whole divine feeling of the statue and surrounding atmosphere. No actions taken by security staff. people are climbing near the statue to take photos, even some damage to tiles visible for the newly built statue base but security staff is just sitting in the corner and doing nothing. The outside hotel people sit at the stairs of the temple guest house and approach people for renting rooms, such things should be restricted by temple management. There is a canteen area in the corner selling variety of food on market price. This place needs serious improvement for cleanliness and hygiene. Toilet is dirty, I went to buy buttermilk, there was a huge barrel of buttermilk from which they were selling. Just before I was going to order, I saw the guy on the counter spit tobacco/paan, exactly next to the barrel. Such things are not at all accepted even if it's from...

Lord Bajrangbali Hanuman is the most celebrated god in Hinduism known for his strength, unsurmountable capabilities, and powers, and for being the immortal devotee of lord Ram. it is said that he has announced that as long as Raam Naam is recited on Bhulok he would live on the planet. This is the epitome of devotion and the inspiration for Bhakti Marg that one can find. The Sarangpur Hanuman Mandir is one such example of Shri Hanuman’s devotion to his favorite Shri Raam, so let’s take a look.
History of Salangpur Hanumanji
The Hanuman Temple of Salangpur in the Indian state of Gujarat falls under the Vadtal Gadi of Swaminarayan Sampraday. It is the most renowned Shree Kashtabhanjan Hanumanji Temple, and its history is deeply rooted in legend and devotion making it a significant pilgrimage site for devotees. Even so, the exact origin and establishment of the temple are not well-documented and are passed down through oral traditions and legends.
The dated history is of the shrine renovation in the year 1899 by Shastri Yagnapurushdas who was given the responsibility of managing the temple then. A new structure for Sarangpur Hanuman Mandir on the additional property acquired was established by him then. The original idol of Kashtabhanjan Maruti was consecrated many centuries ago but later in the year 1905 a Hanuman idol was established by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami a renowned saint of the 19th century. In the year 1907a new Mahant was chosen by Govardhandas, and since then the Vadtal Gadi has introduced extra structures and improvements to Kashtbhanjan Sarangpur Hanuman Mandir. Another remarkable addition was made on 6th April 2023 when a 54-foot-tall lord Hanuman statue made of metal was unveiled which is visible even from 7 km.
The Sarangpur Hanuman temple is famously known as Kashtabhanjan, meaning the crusher of problems, and remover of sorrow. The temple is famous for its healing powers, it is said that the Lord Hanuman Idol has the capacity to heal, if one visits the temple and stares at the Kashtbhanjan Hanuman Murti all the evil in their life would disappear. It is particularly said for those afflicted by evil spirits or supernatural ailments. Devotees have a firm belief that praying in Sarangpur Hanuman Dada Nu Mandir can cure various physical and mental ailments.
There is another great significance of Salangpur Hanumanji, which is the massive Hanumanji Idol in a standing posture praised as the main deity. It has been said that the idol now, was installed by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami who was a disciple of lord Swaminarayan the founder of Swaminarayan Sampradaya. Legends say that the Lord Hanuman Idol was infused with life and divinity when Swami Gopalanand touched the idol with a rod. After this incident, the Kashtbhanjan Murti of Salangpur Hanumanji was even more revered as the powerful deity known for dispelling evil spirits and having miraculous powers of...
