The legend behind the Gujri queen is equally interesting. King Maan Singh had 8 rajput Queens who lived in closed(I mean, literally) chambers of his fort. He saw a strong gujar girl who separated two fighting bulls with her bare hands.

On proposing a marriage, this extraordinary girl demanded a separate open fort for her as a symbol of her dignity despite of her lower caste, a pipeline system to bring water from her hometown to her fort and permission to stay with the king in every battle of his life.
