Deccan Park is one of my personal favorite spots in the city. It's a beautifully maintained space that’s perfect for walking, jogging, or running, with wide and clean paths surrounded by greenery And also has spacious parking for 2 and 4 wheelers but applies ticket charges upto 20-40 rupees and the entry ticket is also affordable for rupees 10 adult and rupees 5 for kid and monthly pass is about 300 which is much more affordable if you visit regularly ( cash only accepted) .The environment is peaceful and refreshing great for starting or ending your day with some movement. There’s also a well-equipped playground for kids and enough open space to enjoy outdoor sports like badminton or frisbee. It’s also a pet-friendly park, which makes it even more enjoyable for pet parents! One important thing to note is that even as it's a picnic spot eatables are partially allowed but maintain cleanliness if in case you plan a potluck or picnic with family, this helps keep the park clean and focused on fitness and recreation. If you're looking for a calm, activity friendly environment, Deccan Park is absolutely worth visiting. I personally love spending time here🌿🐾💚

The answer to muvh needed park for people who enjoy a great morning walk. The occasional calls of peacocks and kites melded into the gusts of wind seem to distance the place even further from the chaos of the city. Located next to Qutb Shahi Tombs in the Golconda area of Hyderabad The monsoon brings a pretty muddiness to the winding and intersecting pathways that run through the park. Every corner presents a strange but eye-catching oddity; be it a landscaped crocodile coated in grass or a waterslide. Bridges that run over the to-be-filled bodies of water adds a romanticism to the place. There is also a kiddy-train in the works, a swimming pool and a couple of enclosed gazebos for picnicking parties. Deccan Park is mettled with a variety of flora — cacti, succulents and cycas among many. It’s the hypnotic foliage maintained by the generous rains that attracts people on a daily basis, namely the morning jogger or the family seeking a few moments of stillness.

Deccan Park located next to Qutb Shahi Tombs, Shaikpet Road, Golconda area of Hyderabad, the park has finally been inaugurated in July 2017 after a 15-year limbo. Spread over in 31 acre, Deccan Park has variety of flora Palms, Neem, Cacti, Succulents and Cycas among many. The park has many full-grown trees and well-maintained walk tracks, a delight to morning and evening walkers. Deccan Park has diffrent walk tracks, slope walking in lush green land is a delight to walkers and its a fun for kids to play around. An ideal place which lets you appreciate nature's tranquility and best way to get connected with the nature. the park has many full grown trees all around. The park has wonderful walking tracks and you can enjoy the walk in green covers for memorable experience.

There’s an anticipation in the air as you enter Deccan Park; apart from the passing traffic, there’s barely any man-made noise. The occasional calls of peacocks and kites melded into the gusts of wind seem to distance the place even further from the chaos of the city. Located next to Qutb Shahi Tombs in the Golconda area of Hyderabad, the park has finally been inaugurated this year after a 15-year limbo.

The monsoon brings a pretty muddiness to the winding and intersecting pathways that run through the park.

While still being relatively new, the park has already attracted a lot of youngsters who make the most of the summit of the park which was created from the mounds of earth dug up to create the water bodies.

Offering a memorable view of the city and placing you up close to the massive domes of the tombs nearby, it’s worth taking some time to just absorb the juxtaposition of enduring history against rapidly-developing modernity.

Ideal for the Instagram feeds and just for relaxing on the lean-back benches, the views would be ideal for sunset visits.

Having acquired the land in 1982, the Quli Qutb Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA) had long been at work to embellish the grounds with more vegetation and activity areas for visitors.

Despite an intention of opening it to the public in 2002, court cases prevented this— ultimately it opened just this month.

There are hopes for the park to merge with the tombs grounds so as to provide a better access to the heritage site. If this is done, this will surely make way for a restoration of the tombs gardens to its former glory.

It should be noted that Deccan Park, despite its 15 year close-off period, still has a long way to go in terms of beautification; the man-made structures such as the train and the swimming pool are clearly in dire need of some cheering up and revamping. But one should still go check out the dense greenery, proving Mother Nature...

It was opened in 2018 and since then there is tremendous support from the walkers community, Very nicely maintained by QQSUDA(Quli qutub shah urban development authority)

Open on all days in morning and evening b/w 6am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm. Ticket adult:Rs10/- child: Rs5/- and if extra 50/- for still camera.

It was once being used for receptions and parties.

I now see this place attracted a lot for the photoshoots which are happening now more often for the pre/post weddings and the pre/post maternity shoots because of the pleasant and calm/less crowd due to privacy.

The park has a walkway round the park where walkers move around in morning and evenings, Children will love this place as there is a garden in the middle to play around.

Not to miss the hill at top where there is a green carpet shaped in circle area where one can see the Golconda on the right and qutub Shahi tombs to left and also the urban houses around from the top.

QQSUDA is developing this park more by making arrangements for toy train and also the water fountain inside you shall...
