Amanikere Park is one of the calmest and most scenic places in Tumakuru. The lake view is amazing, especially during sunrise or sunset. It’s a great spot for walks, peaceful evenings, or just spending time with family and friends. The open gym, tall flag post, and greenery add a nice touch to the place.
🎟️ Entry Fee: ₹10–₹20
🚲 Cycle Rental (Yaana): ₹10 per hour – perfect since the park is quite large to explore fully
🚤 Boating Options:
• Speed Boat: ₹300 per ride (2 people / ₹150 each) • Pedal Boat: ₹400 for 4 people (₹100 each) • Jet Ski: ₹500 per ride
The boating staff are friendly and ensure safety with life jackets. There’s also a memorial monument and clean walkways that make it feel peaceful.
🕒 Best time to visit: Early morning or before sunset 🌿 Perfect for: Family outings, fitness walks, or a quick weekend break by the lake
Overall, it’s a refreshing and budget-friendly place that gives you both peace and a bit of adventure — right in the heart of...
Read moreThis park is in the heart of the city and quite easy to reach. Park is big you can find musical fountain, glass house, boating and kids play area. It has science park which is still in renovation stage. Gym and the children's park are good to spend a time. Good for walking and jogging in the morning. A best and enjoyable place for kids to play in the kids park, musical fountain was ok but as of now it is stopped since 4 months. The park is maintained well and clean. We can see the lake and the mountain sceneries around, when the water level is up to the mark the staff will arrange for boating. Only things I found in improvement is parking area, there's no security for your vehicles as it will be parked beside the roadside where no guards will watch out. The children's park is too inside that we have to walk around 300 to 400 mtrs to reach. Overall a good visit, hope to see it become an one of the tourist...

Though the lake is recently rejuvenated or re-modified, still most of the places are not planned properly to improve the infrastructure, park facilities, walking zones, toilets, fountains, gardening, etc etc. Moreover, the morning walking is allowed for free and other times it has entrance fees which is not worth to enjoy the beauty of the nature and park. Lot of mosquitoes, no proper light facilities, pavements are bat at few locations, and evening around 7pm they will close the park. Need lot of improvements from Tumakuru development...
