A Wildly Memorable Experience at Bannerghatta Safari!

We visited Bannerghatta Safari on a Sunday with our family, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable outings we've had in a while! We chose the non-AC bus option, and honestly, it added a raw, close-to-nature feel that really complemented the safari experience.

The day started off smoothly. The safari area was well-organized despite the weekend crowd. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the ticketing process was pretty straightforward. Once we boarded the non-AC bus, we were excited to begin the adventure. The open windows gave us unobstructed views and allowed us to fully enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest โ€“ much more immersive than any glass-covered vehicle.

The safari itself was incredible. We got to see lions, tigers, bears, elephants, deer, and more โ€“ all in their naturalistic enclosures that were surprisingly vast and well-maintained. One of the highlights was when a massive tiger calmly crossed the road right in front of our bus โ€“ the kids were thrilled, and even the adults couldnโ€™t stop gasping! The guide on board gave us interesting facts about the animals and made the whole ride educational as well as entertaining.

Despite being a non-AC bus, the ventilation was good, and the cool breeze made the ride pleasant. It didnโ€™t feel uncomfortable at all, and we actually preferred it as it allowed for better photographs and clearer views.

After the safari, we explored the zoo and the butterfly park โ€“ both were equally delightful and perfect for a full-day family outing. There were plenty of snack options and shaded areas to relax, making it family-friendly and manageable even on a sunny day.

Overall, Bannerghatta Safari is a must-visit for anyone who loves wildlife and nature. If youโ€™re going with family, especially kids, theyโ€™ll love every minute of it. And if you're okay with a little dust and adventure, the non-AC bus is totally worth it!

We returned home with full hearts, amazing memories, and lots of photos. Canโ€™t recommend this...

We (I, along with a few friends) visited Bannerghatta Safari on 31-03-2024 (which was a Sunday).

We booked the non-AC bus tickets online so that we could save time waiting at the physical counter. Even if you didn't book your tickets beforehand, you could still get them within 10-15 minutes at the physical counter. Even during the weekend, I didn't find a huge queue at the physical counter, maybe due to summer.

Coming to the non-AC bus safari, is it worth โ‚น 400 (Safari + Zoo)? I cannot say it is an awesome experience and all. It's okay. It's a one-time visiting experience, so it's not a big deal. As an adult, you may not enjoy that much, but children will enjoy the most.

During the safari, we spotted 2 white tigers; these are a treat to the eyes. We also spotted a few lions, tigers, elephants, and deer. My suggestion is to visit during the rainy season; greenery will be there.

While going to Bannerghatta Biological Park, please search for 'Bannerghatta Biological Park' in Google Maps to get the correct location. If you search for 'Bannerghatta National Park' and go accordingly, you will waste around 20 minutes of travel time. You will end up at the wrong location, and the authorities at that spot will redirect you to the correct place by instructing you to search for 'Bannerghatta Biological Park.' This...
