One of the ancient temples of Lord Shiva in Namma Shivamogga. Shivamogga,,, by name itself connects to Lord Shiva. My grandfather used to visit here on Shiva Rathri. You can see the beauty of the Tunga River from here. Beside this temple, There is a direct entry to River Tunga. Heard that Committee members take the Ganapathi Idols at Ganesh Festival times from Devotees n perform visarjane via boat at a little distance... Devotees were also performing Nagarakatte Pooja. The famous HINDU MAHASABHA Ganapathi is worshipped in this temple. This Ganapathi is very powerful and the Procession of Visarjane ( happens on Anantha Chaturdashi Day ) is secured with the help of military forces.... It starts from Gandhi Bazar, n passes via,, AA Circle, Gopi Circle, Dr. BR Ambedkar Circle (Jail Circle), Nehru Stadium n Then Court Circle.. Atlast will again reach Tunga River. The whole process takes almost 24hrs. It's a treat to watch this procession.

One of the best place to visit..this temple was so beautiful and next to the Kota Anjaneya temple. if you're going in the car then you need to park the car in the main road and you need to walk..if you're going in the bike you can go near to Temple only in the bike to best time to visit August end are in September and there people are so good and they will help if you need any help thank very much for everyone 🙏

A very old iconic temple complex on the banks of river Tunga. Main deity of Lord Shiva is divine and peaceful.The Tunga river bank along the temple has been beautified very well with a nice walking path. Temple is vast,under Govt muzrai department.
