Parna Kuteera - A place to hide... — Attraction in Karnataka

Took my group of 15 trekkers to this place this Sat 20th Oct. We stayed overnight there. Washrooms were plenty & clean. They gave us a room to dump our luggage as we wished to camp on the beach. I am glad we found this place, for the camping experience was amazing. The dinner was delayed a bit (there was another big group), but it's worth the wait as both veg & non-veg were delicious. I can still feel the taste of Gobi Manchurian they made for our veggies. The best thing was - we had our party around the campfire with music & drinks, and there was none except us on the beach. The moon was bright and flashing on the sea. I still remember those radium colored lines on top of the waves forming distinct lines because of the moon light. It was so amazing that we thought we will miss out on the serene & beautiful setting if we sleep. So all of were awake almost till 4 AM taking that stroll on the soft sand beach. Anyways we knew the sun doesn't rise on these beaches, so we slept till late morning in the cozy tents - one tent for 2 people. Couple of us slept outside and decided to count the stars & try our luck at shooting stars. Luckily we found 2 shooting stars whizzing through the night sky and disappearing in a split-second. The owner Vinod is a gentleman who welcomed us, looked after us well and briefed about few private beaches and the trek path that connects Nirvana beach - where we were located - to those hidden beaches & all the way to Agnashini river delta that merges into Arabian sea. I donot recommend this place to anyone. Starting with the facilities, the rooms are below average, lot of mosquitoes and insects and dirt. Food is below average and way costly, not at all worth. Common washrooms and not clean. No security in the place. Finally the staff are pathetic 🙏 We have informed them that we will be checking in around 5 as we were travelling from a long distance, they were okay and even they did mention that they won't charge for the driver. But when we reached the place it was 4am and they were not welcoming but they have given luggage room for us with zero cleanliness. They asked full amount to be paid n we did. They did ask price for driver also by changing their Words.Then at night when we asked for tents, they demanded half the price again as we checked in 1 hour early than the mentioned time. But they didnot inform anything about checkin n checkout time to us in prior. This is completely injustice to customers. Money minded people with zero respect to customers. Please don't...

BUDGET STAY + BEACH + AMAZING FOOD + NIRVANA It is definitely a hideout, as the name says. Away from chaos of people but amidst nature's chaos. Can't find a place this beautiful. By the way, if you are travelling as a group, you get the whole beach and also all the tents if you inform them well in advance. You have access to beach 24hours. Just take some beer and chill. Don't worry if you run out of beer. Just convey it to Mr.Vinod or his brother and they'll have you covered. Any time. Very friendly people and food is amazing too (Gobi & Chicken Manchurian is a must try)

If you are expecting a luxurious stay, don't even bother to enquire. This isn't for you.
