You cannot say it as drive in beach as the name suggests. Two wheelers and off road vehicles can be taken till the end of the road. Unless in other beaches of Varkala, one can ride only upto the cliff. Beyond that one has to climb down the stairs to reach the beach.

Beautiful and clean beach on the South of Varkala. We went here in the morning around 10 Am and it was just the two of us in the entire beach! It was lovely and we had a nice time.
