Thekkady Rose Park — Attraction in Kerala

Rose Park located at Attappallam, Kumily is an adventurous theme park where you can relax with your family. It is just 4.6 km from Periyar wildlife sanctuary, Thekkady which is one of the best, protected wildlife sanctuaries in India.

The attractions in this place include the lotus park, adventurous rides, beautiful locations for photographers and selfie lovers and more.

Kayaking in Rose Park :

Kayaking is done through a small circular stream. Two types of kayaking boats are available. A larger one in which two adults and two children can ride and a small one only for one adult.

Sky Cycling :

We should ride the bicycle 25ft above the ground fixed over a single steel rope. Safety measures are there to protect you from falling down. It will be a great experience to ride a bicycle through a rope above people roaming below.

Commando Net :

Commando net is an adventurous activity, where one can experience how commando crosses the obstacles in the net. This activity will be liked by youngsters, children, as well as adults.

Archery:

Archery is a sport, skill,practise as well as an activity that requires focus, determination, control, repetition, and precision. It is the best activity to challenge with your friends. You will get five arrows, just aim and shoot it!

Spices Plantation in Rose Park :

Entry fee is reasonable -450 with all activities ( Not sure 400 or 450) 100 for People who just wanted to see and no activities

Since we have a kid small and one 9 years, we have taken 2 full pass and one entry. It was really fun as they have water cycling, few activities like rope line, sky cycling, 12 D, nice rose guarden, Archery etc.

Restaurant is decently priced with decent food. Washroom is okayish .

All support staff is really good, Most of the staff are lady staff and it is really help ful for kids and ladies especially. They will really take care of kids and encourage to do activities. My kid was scared to go i rope line and finally she did 3 times with their encouragement. another good point is that they are providing replacement activities liek, if you are not taking water cycling you can take another activity one more time. So we did give most of chances to kid as its their day.

Overal fantastic and really good for people visiting Thekady as thekady doesn't have much options to explore. Spend 3-4 hours and pics, half day can be enjoyed really. ..All...
