This beautiful temple is located outside the City of Kochi in nettoor under the administration of Cochin Devaswom board. No amount of words can describe the calmness of the temple. A silent and divine place of worship with the all powerful Lord Shiva being adored in his primal yet unscathed form. The temple complex is huge with other sub deities like Sasthavu, Sarpam, Yogeeswaran, Gulikan etc in the compound. A form of Yakshi idol is placed in the Mukhamandapam with a warning not to touch it. A MahaVishnu temple is also adjacent to it. There is a huge pond with a large school of fishes in it. The fishes are ever eager to be fed by anyone who is ready for it.

Words will not do justice in capturing the experience in the temple. A slice of heritage - the Siva temple stands in green verdant surroundings. Feeling blessed to have Darshanam of Lord Siva. Lord Krishna temple is adjacent to this temple - such a special feeling to be in the temple. The whole place has beach sand which left us surprised. A must visit temple not known to many people.

Very nice temple with a huge temple pond. There are two temples side by side one with main deity Lord Shiva and other Mahavishnu. Two bhadrakali temples (Pattupurakkal) one north and other south are also to be visited. During annual festival, also known as utsavam, Lord Shiva and two devi's unite in a grand procession between these temples.

Being so close to the highway and also amidst the cluttered market n streets of Nettur, you'll be surprised to see how peaceful this temple is! One among the 108 temples consecrated by Parasurama.
