Reasonable Entrance fee for adults, kids and a full family. Before entering to the hills, you must grab the tickets from the main entrance counter. Try to reach there by time before the counters get closed. 9am to 5pm is the timing as of now.
Main attractions here are Children's park, Kids park, View points, Sculptures, hill view, refreshing open air area.
The bridge to the play area is more attractive. It leads to the play ground below the ground level of the main entrance area.
Children's park is the one of the main attraction in Vilangan Hills. The children's park is spacious and neat & clean. Few rides are not functioning well. But there are enough number of rides for a small crowd. Swings, Slides, Seesaw, Globe climbing, tunnel slide, kids slide, rope climbing, bouncer, family swing, other kids adventure climbing rides can be find there.
Kids park in vilangan hills is an addition to the children park. If you feel it is uncomfortable for your kids to play with children, you can choose the kids park. You can enjoy evenings here with your kids and family if you can reach here easily or if you are living by neighborhood places. You can refresh your mind and soul by visiting this place. There is view point, children's park, Thrissur view point etc to watch here...
Main cafeteria is not maintained well and not used which is under the main view point tower. There is another shop near to the entrance which provide soft drinks and snacks.
Inside vilangan hills park, you can got to the top of the view point which we can watch the surroundings at an highest point. The view point is constructed separate and you can reach there by stairs provided to the exterior. The view point is near to the children's park, before the bridge to the chidren's park. The main problem is that most of the 360 degree views are covered and masked with big trees. For that a full view is missed always. But still you can watch almost half of the area. Before they provided a telescopic view, but now it is not available from more years.
This is one of my favorite place to visit with my family. The Road need to be...

Read moreIt is a nice place to hangout mainly to entertain kids.
Accessibility: The spot is accessible from the Thrissur Kunnamkulam road. The road approaching to the hill is poorly maintained while writing this review. The road was so shady with the trees on either sides, although we visited when the sun was fully on! It is a good ride, despite the road being not good enough.
Ticket and queue: The ticketing system is a traditional one with a queue. It would have been too good if it was drive in like in the malls or even in the railway stations. I went only with my kid, and I had to step out of the driving seat to get the ticket which obviously made the security person to usher and those behind to raise their eyebrows.
Parking: Felt ample parking space there, although I was skeptical if there would be sufficient space on the top!
What is there: There is a children's park area. Some commonly seen installments on the ground have the ingredients for any kids. However common they are, every kid seem to enjoy those very much running from one after the other. I could also see a different children's play area surrounded by the pathway, having more modern rides and things. But it was closed while writing this review. Not sure if it was closed for maintenance, or due to recent COVID restrictions or if it is still under construction.
The pathway is built towards the edge of the hill so you can have a full round there. It would be too good to walk when the Sun is not fully on.
There are view points built aside the pathway. All except the one near the entrance, have mostly been occupied by some couple, as it is somewhat seclusive place. The view point is actually good, it always give a taste of where we are!
Eateries: Saw two eateries there. We entered in one of them, usual snacks and cooldrinks were...
