Kanha tiger safaris & travel agency — Attraction in Khatlyanarangi

We visited Kanha National Park from 10th - 12th Dec 2024 and were lucky enough to have Santosh as our safari driver for all 3 days. Every trip out he was at the hotel exactly when he said he would be. We were hoping for a single tiger sighting in our 5 booked safaris, but oh did Santosh try a bit harder than that! His local knowledge of the park is mind blowing. 24years experience, and it shows! Numerous times there were vehicles driving around looking for the tigers when word of a sighting had got round, but not us. Santosh went to a seemingly random spot and told us to wait quietly, which we did. And then, as if by magic, a tiger walked out the undergrowth. This happened 5 times! We also got to see a leopard, which would have been totally hidden from view if Santosh's sharp eye hadn't picked it out for us. The passion he has will definitely spread to you and make the trip even much better. As a bonus, his vehicles felt well maintained. We saw numerous Gypsy vehicles round the park with howling fan belts and suspension creaking away. The vehicle we were in was quiet and smooth. Exactly what you need for big cat spotting. So impressed with Santosh Bhai that we engage him each time when visiting Kanha zone. He has the nack to track the movements of big cat and plans his trip accordingly.

When he stops inbtween for listening alarm calls he is for ever calculating the possible areas of the movements..

His passion, alertness and knowledge of the park will not disappoint.
