MOGLI RESORT, Kanha National Park. — Restaurant in Madhya Pradesh

Had a great stay at this resort for 3 nights stay with my family along with 2 children of 6 months and 3 years.

We were contacted directly by the hotel one day before arrival to check on arrival time and to ensure a smooth check-in process. We were travelling by car from Mumbai so got a bit delayed on road and reched the hotel on 20th evening around 6Pm.

Everything was kept ready and we got a quick check-in. Got cottage number 18 which was decently sized and had facilities like tea maker, tea kits, small TV, Tata Sky with quite a few decent number of channels enabled, including sports, kids, and hindi movies. English movie channels were a miss though. The jungle themed resort felt excellent, and gave the proper fell of staying close to nature. Swings around the trees, sitting areas, garden, swimming pool were all beautiful and well maintained. The area inside the resort is pretty large and the children (including the ones staying at Baghira resort) from our other family group also enjoyed a lot running around. The restaurant was also very good and co-operative, specially Captain Yug, who ensured we get the food customized to our taste. My family group staying in Baghira resort came over to have food here twice, although they had pre-booked meals there.

We had a minor issue with the bed on the third day of our stay, and our room was promptly addressed giving a free upgrade to room 32.

Overall an excellent stay and hospitality received from the Mogli resort staff. Will probably come again in the future and will recommend to others as well.

Pros: Ample parking space inside the resort compound Quick checkin The person at reception was very friendly and polite Indoor games like pool table, table tennis

Cons: Rooms do not have wifi coverage. Wifi available only at reception and restaurant Mobile network coverage at rooms are also dicey. VI coverage was almost zero, and Jio coverage was very unstable with 20 to 70% strength No kids activities area Amenities like comb, hair dryer, shaving and dental kit were missing. We were carrying these, but would have appreciated if these provided too 24 hours running hot water. Although they went ahead and turned on the boiler when requested which took 30 to 60 mins

If some of these points can be addressed, Mogli resort can definitely be among the best in Kanha area.

Our experience overall Very bad We had booked room fr 2nd n 3rd june 4th was our checkout , 4 families were there with 4 kids , biggest one 4 years old We had booked 4 rooms ,with all three meals included in it Paid 46,000 Its like an ARMY RULE IN THIS HOTEL, we reached around 6:30pm took tea n went to rrom, then we came back to resturant fr dinner we were taking food fr kids they told its not allowed in room , u cant take food in room, I have stayed in bannawapara,aloha n many other resort, i never heard of this kind that u cant take food in room coz its buffet thing , we didnt intend to take whole restaurant food in room,we just wanted to take our food to room , get relaxed n eat . But ok we couldnt Next day again we went fr safari packaging of food was good, food was ok no problem, then kids got hungry ,1:30 i reached Resturant,food wasnt ready i asked the concerned person he told u told u people will be late so we didnt prepare that day we got food at 2pm, Night again we got room service with starters n all, paid 6000 n again got call from Resturant 10:30 is last pls come n have food Literallymy husband had put alarm fr food at 10:10pm So overall 8 adults 4 kids we were We took out 3 days of our busy schedule to relax have fun spend time with kids But all together it was just alarm n run fr food I didnt like the resort at all Just look dsnt matter Convince towards things matter One staff told me watever rating u wanna give u give people still will cone thats true but my friends my relatives n 1% people who will ready my review will bot book thats fr sure n last thing one of my friend had birthday they forced us to celebrate at 11:15 pm because pool side nothing can be done at night time Cleanliness is good food is good

I stayed in Mogli Resort in Kanha on 19 till 21st March'21. Here is my review:

1. Booking - I contacted Nasreen ji and she helped me in getting the booking done quickly. - 5/5

2. Property - The property is spread in a very large area. Its beautiful, and have lots of amenities. You can just go for a morning or an evening walk in the property. - 5/5

3. Room - The room is just Ok. It has all necessities but of basic level quality - Fridge/Kettle/ACs/Geyser/Furniture - all of it were of kind of ok. I think staff can do a lot more in providing good quality items in the room. I called them for a room cleaning but they didn't came. I found the bedsheet and pillow cover was not washed properly, it had stains. The fan of my room stopped working. 3/5

4. Food - It is really delicious. It was light on stomach and great on taste. All the items were great. The restaurant staff do their level best. Whatever we ordered was provided to us quickly and with great care and smile. I also liked the evening high tea. For the safari goers, they provide a breakfast box which is good. It would have been great if they also provide tea in thermal bottle in the breakfast box. However, I really enjoyed interacting with restaurant staff as they are really courteous to guests. - 5/5

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Mogli, Kanha it was memorable. I shall look forward to stay here again. PS - If they act on making some little improvements in room, I think it will delight...
