Nestled in the heart of nature, these small naturally grooved caves hold a unique charm that's deeply rooted in history. These caves, although petite in size, offer a portal into the past, where ancient mysteries and secrets were once concealed. As you explore this historical site, you'll find that it carries the scent of the land, a subtle reminder of the sheep and shepherds that have wandered these hills for generations. One of the remarkable features of this place is the presence of a serene freshwater pond. This pond not only adds to the overall tranquility of the site but also has likely served as a vital water source for both humans and animals over the years. Its presence adds a sense of timelessness to the location. But what truly sets this historical site apart is the carefully constructed wall. This wall appears to have been designed with one purpose in mind: to allow visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings. With this wall as your perch, you can relish the sensation of fresh clouds gently brushing against your face, enveloping your very soul in a moment of pure serenity. In a world that's constantly in motion, sites like these offer a glimpse into a simpler, more contemplative past. They remind us of the profound connection between humans and nature, where even small caves and humble walls can become vessels for timeless stories and cherished experiences. It's a place where history whispers through the rocks and the air carries the echoes of those who have sought solace in its embrace for centuries.

This place is not among the much sought after places to be visited in Mandu. A rock cut cave with a waterfall around rainy and winter seasons. The cave is very old from around 10 th century hence one of the oldest existing structure on the Mandu plateau. The Has a picturesque sunset point near this caves with a wide open view of valley below reminding me of Mahabaleshwar.

Tiny caves with some part submerged in water. Open parking. Visit only if you have 15-20 minutes and nothing to do in Mandu. No grand size, no intricate carving, just a detour from Jahaz mahal and other buildings

Please be very careful there. The approach steps are very bad, very dangerous. Slipped badly and fell while walking down hit head backwards on steps. So much moss no hold at all. My daughter also fell and we just started back. Nobody to guide you there. Then hotel staff said oh nobody goes there in rainy season. Maybe a great landmark but in extreme need of upkeep & safety. Very dangerous please be very careful...
