Great experience watching the sucessfully hatched turtles crawl into the sea. Learning about the conservation efforts from the management team and organizers, along with volunteers from diverse walks of life all united for one cause is very inspiring. Turtles are released for tourists once in the morning at 7am and in the evening at 6pm. The festival is subject to turtle nesting periods and hatching, but it is almost promising to visit between March to April. The management also accepts volunteers during nesting season and are very approachable for the same. The festival also includes a short documentary and interactive talk by the resource persons after every morning and evening release session. The halogen lights that hamper turtle nesting are displayed and there is no consideration for surrounding wildlife and environment by the resort owner. People are allowed to set up campfires on the beach and beer is served on the beach. As an ethical tourist please avoid visiting this place, which sets out halogen lights and destroys the environment in the name of tourism.

Just a few things to note if you contact them and they take you they charge 100rs ticket(official cost) you can visit on your own for free since its on public beach. but i would still suggest you donate some money to them if you are visiting. The guys managing this are very professional.
