My daughter wanted to learn Horse Riding & I enrolled her in Japalouppe for a 6 day course & paid for Rs. 29k for 11 to 16th June 2023
Today is 13th June & I have had to get her back for various reasons listing a few
The Food provided to kids is not upto the mark & is just tasteless & watery The washroom in the camp were very very dirty & unusable for anyone which she told to the caretaker there but it fell on DEAF EARS The trainer was very very rude to her & she even hit her on her head as according to the trainer she was not listening to her The volunteers they had in the camp were kids of 12-13 years who themselves had no knowledge of any kind & there were to manage group of 49 kids in the camp. What kind of volunteering can you expect from a 12-13-year-old kid The volunteers told kids in the camp to not sit on the bed while having food (which is understandable & correct), but they themselves used to sit on the bed while having food (what can you expect from them afterall they are also kids of 12-13 years) They had promised water activities while I was enrolling my daughter in their camp on 8th June. When my daughter went there she was told water activities won’s happen as there is water shortage (how can there be water shortage within 48 hours. If no water activities were going to happen they should not have committed that in the 1st place) My daughter was not feeling well in the night & she woke up the caretaker Ms Manisha 2-3 times in the night of 12th June because of which she was in a bad mood the whole day of 12th June & she made fun of my daughter the whole day & was continuously using demeaning statements against my daughter in front of the other kids the whole day. It is the job of the caretaker to look after any kid if they are not feeling well I got a call yesterday on 12th itself & they told me to come & get my daughter as she did not want to continue the course (obviously looking at the state of things there I would not want her to continue as well) When I asked them for refund of the amount as my daughter could not bear the state of affairs in the camp I was told my daughter was homesick, my daughter has been to Sri Lanka & Goa for 8 & 4 days respectively with her school all alone hence I know as a matter of fact that she was not homesick When I told them that I will write review about what has happened & is happening in the camp & about the trainer & the caretaker I get a wonderful reply from them & I Quote, “DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO AS 1 BAD REVIEW WILL NOT HURT US” Their arrogance just baffled me as to what is going on
We are trusting our them with OUR KIDS & it is their responsibility to look after them & if anything is amiss or wrong to correct it. They are living in their own arrogant world that they are very big & nothing can happen to them.
They will obviously be big as they are CHEATS & LIARS
if you are ready to get CHEATED & have one of the MOST HARROING EXPERIENCES of your lives enroll you kids there & Pls be Ready to Loose Your Money as well as I am sure that kids cannot stay there with such trainers / caretakers / facilities for 6 days at a stretch
Further against your reply if you have looked into the CCTV you will obviously find it baseless as it is YOUR OWN CAMPUS & YOUR OWN CCTV
Also it is my hobby to send my child for a campy by paying Rs 29000/- for 6 days and to get her back within 48 hrs and write a wrong review. Money Grows on Tree for me and i have ample of it to waste I guess
You May have grown in the past 20 -25 yrs or so or whatever time the KIND OF ATTITUDE your staff has towards kids in your camp will not help you grow much more
You dont need any CCTV to see, The Age of 2-3 Volunteers to manage 49 kids The Condition of Toilets The Quality of Food etc
Write whatever you want to, for feel good about yourself but the experience that my daughter had in your camp is going to HAUNT HER for a VERY LONG Period of time which I know for sure Cut to 14th my daughter's friend who had gone with her has...
Read moreJapalouppe Equestrian Centre is located on the right side of the road, just before the Somatne Phata toll plaza, if you are coming from Pune. We Punekars have very fond memories of 'Peshwe Udyan' which played a very crucial role in our childhood days. Now, Japalouppe will surely create more advanced memories for you.
A stylish Iguana welcomes you at the gate. Do not touch his tail, is what you are being told by the guide. So, don't be adventurous. The guide then gives you a set of instructions on all the Dos and don'ts that you need to follow for the small tour of the farm along with a bucket of (customized) food to feed the birds and animals in the farm.
Then you enter a bird cage, which has many love birds and some quails in it. You get a chance to feed them with your hand. Next to it, you feed amazing rabbits. Who said Rabbits were shy animals? Just check here once you start feeding them. They climb on your thighs to check the menu you brought to feed them. You also get a chance to feed Mr. Emu (be careful, he sort of attacks your hand when you try to feed him ;) Then the tour continues with feeding geese, some cows (they might paint your hand with their salivary tongue :D), cute turtles, guinea pigs, and CLEAN PIGS (show these to your kids rather than Peppa Pigs), different breeds of horses, and a few turkeys. There are also a couple of hedgehogs to watch out for. You can also opt for a pony ride by paying an additional Rs. 500. Though the amount is very high (since we are habituated to a Rs 50/- ride), this ride covers a long distance with a helmet provided on a well-maintained pony.
How can I not mention the unlimited, delicious menu they kept for lunch? Misal Pav, Pizza, Muffins, Waffles, Sugarcane Juice, and much more. There is a small play area for kids too.
For morning batches, they provide breakfast, and for evening batches, you are honored with Hi-Tea and evening snacks.
The entry fee is Rs. 900/- for an adult and Rs. 700/- for kids. They are open from Thursday to Monday (Tue & Wed).
You will enjoy every bit of the 2.30 hours that...
