Om Sairam. My family and I came here on Thursday for Sai Baba's darshan and on Friday, when we visited here on Good Friday, we were surprised to see the entry fee sign at the entrance. For everyone from the age of 2 onwards there was ₹150 entry Fee.We went inside at 7 pm and were a little disappointed to see the interior. There is not much inside considering the entry fee. The condition of the heritage village has deteriorated. There are no information boards in some places. There are four paintings on the big wall which are available for photo sessions. There was a puppet show and a magician show, of which the magician seemed a little better. The businessmen here have failed to provide free drinking water. Children could not even get water when they got tired of playing. The condition of sports equipment has also deteriorated.Grown-ups will wonder why I came in! Other paid services include horse riding, camel riding, train rides, and ropeway rides, which should have been included in the entry fee.I understood why, even though it was a holiday, the place was not crowded. Many people come to this area just to see the old village, but readers should note that this is not a real old village, but an arrangement made just to make money.
In short, 1)the entry fee should be ₹50. 2)The heritage village needs maintenance and repair. 3)Free cold Drinking water should be provided. 4)Paid services should be made free if the entry fee is to be...
Read moreSCAM I visited this place on 14th Oct 5 pm and paid for 3 tickets worth 150 each; then entered the premise and within atmost of 2min there was a heavy rain and took shelter for a hour 6pm, as the rain is not stopping and it's getting dark; i asked the MEMBERS who gave tickets to give a REFUND which they refused for all (refund, stating there designation and names) or any attempt to call the authority and claming they are the chief authority of this place.
then after some arguments we left the place, when we reached outside we understood we are not alone in this SCAM, they are allowing all the outsiders in even if the place is fully flooded and with no rides(there are 3 rides inside all are not working which you paid 150 for)
This would have been easily resolved if there was a contact no. of any official authority outside premise, I did find later official site and called both numbers to which no-surprice both not working and e-mailed them hoping for any kind of action.
Look's like a good place to visit with children if everything is working as intended but due to bad maintanence, management, lack of responsibility this place is not worth more then 40rs.
Will update this post if I get any response from them.
TL;DR Rather donate that money to poor then give it to SCAMERS...
Read moreVisited this place recently during our trip to Shirdi from Bangalore, mainly because my child was keen on seeing it. Despite reading a few negative reviews, we decided to give it a try — but honestly, I regret spending ₹450 for three of us.
The entry fee of ₹150 per person is completely unjustified. The place lacks proper maintenance, many of the setups are broken or worn out, and overall, it feels more like a basic park than a proper heritage village. At best, it should have been priced between ₹25 to ₹50 — not more.
There are some positives: a few life scenes of Sai Baba are depicted creatively and it offers some decent photo spots. Also, the area has some open space to sit and relax. But that’s pretty much it.
This review is purely to share an honest experience and hopefully help others avoid wasting their hard-earned money. With a little upkeep and fairer pricing, this place could be much better — but in its current state, I wouldn’t recommend it. If you still want to visit and do not worry about spending INR 150 per head. You can...
