Rhino Heritage Museum — Attraction in Meghalaya

I recently visited this small but fascinating museum in Shillong, and it was definitely worth my time! 🕊️ The main focus of the museum is a tank, which was a great surprise. 🚀 What's more, the museum also pays tribute to the 1971 war with some amazing memorial images and classic weapons on display. 💥

The Rhino Heritage Museum in Shillong was a pleasant surprise for me, and I’d rate it 5/5. It may not be very large, but it carries a lot of character and history. This is a very small, but well-maintained museum. It was a World War ll-era ammuntion dump. Presently, there is only one attendant present on the premises. Only those interested in military history will enjoy it. I spent 1.5 hours there , but I was the only one inside it. Since, I am a military history buff, I quite enjoyed learning the history of the Assam Rifles, the Assam Regiment, the local 101 Area, and the contributions of various units during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
