We visited to goregaon film City today. 24th Nov 2024 . We where told that we will be shown the iconic sites and bollywood theme park..

It was 3 hrs tour, 1 hour in bus and 2 hrs in bollywood theme park

Journey started with bus tour... The guide showed us the sites which was Just the plain ground... Almost all sites where plain ground.. nothing els.. On One stop he asked to get down n see the mini Dubai .. when we got down from bus n saw the spot .. it was jst a lake view from the top.. and lake was very far.. kids where not even able to see the water clearly...

Then he showed us the om shanti om shoot building but that also from bus.. building was like a khandar..

Then he showed us the big boss set main gate... That also from bus window.. what is the point of seeing gate from outside....

Then he told he will show us Gokul dham set..

We where excited to see,l but when we reached there.. he jst showed us the get of the Gokul dham entrance.. that was also from far.. almost 300 meter far..... We where only able to see the gate lable nothing els... Gate was also not clearly visible because he showed us from the point where only trees and high walls where there ..No colony view nothing... We where jst able to c the board.. not even gate..

So if you are expecting the film City tour to be good.. then u will be wrong .. u will be wasting your thousands of rupees in seeing jst plain ground sites and long display view of gokuldham gate...

All the tourist where very disappointed.. ther is nothing to see..

Then after 1 hour we where taken to bollywood theme park.. there u will get to see 3 shows... Live dance, live singing and love mimicry artists.. nothing els... This is jst been played by 6 guys.. U will be shown a guy who is duplicate of sharukh khan.. PPL coming from outside Mumbai started laughing after seeing this shit shows..

2nd show was croma show.. Here a yelling guy will waste ur time.. showing how fima are edited with the help of croma screens.. Tourist after 10 mins started leaving this show from middle n went out..

3rd show was a 7D show... It's a ride show as common as everywhere.. it's jst of 10 min..

Then u will get a free time of 15-20 min.. u can click few pics around artificial things.. n then u will be asked to leave and exit...

1099 rs per person is just a waste of money... Bus tour is worst... This is like making people fool as they come from outside Mumbai...

If u really don't want to waste ur time and money the please don't go here..

Go to elephanta caves, gate way of India, nariman point, Bandstand, siddhivinayak, mahalakshmi, haljiali, Go to underground metro.. Go to sealink Go to atal setu

But don't go to filmcity...it's jst...

First they didn't let us enter filmcity with our own car. Second the prices shown on Google aren't true... or may be it was before but now the price was 1000 per person.. still we booked the tickets.. but when I asked the ticket maker why is it showing 599 on Google when the actual price is 1000.. he gave me a pamphlet.. which contained places looking really happening.. then I thought the place must be as happening as shown on the pamphlet.. but the reality is something else.. they don't even show the sets.. neither take us to the studios.. they just tell us.. that this is the place where this movie.. this serial shooted for neatly the tour guide wasn't entertaining at all.. he was just irritating.. we changed our bus 5...to... 6 times.. and that's worst.. next there was the show of this faln pathak.. which we didn't have permission to watch firstly.. but then at last we saw a glance anyway.. next thing.. is we went to enjoy the scenic beauty there.. and the mandir.. but they didn't let us stand there even for 5 minutes.. the tour guide just told us about the place and that's it.. we were taken back to the bus. We saw a few actresses.. but they weren't actually popular.. or maybe the side actors.. next.. there was this bollywood park.. which I thought would be worth our money.. but to our surprise it wasn't.. it was actually...Not even worth 100 rs.. we were taken to this park.. and there.. a few background dancers danced.. and just a short story about cinema.. which I appreciate the efforts.. but it wasn't that great .. even the speaker volume was soo high that one of my family members got a headache also they didn't show us 5 out of ten places over there.. the helipad... the powai lake and many more film sets.. it surely wasn't worth out money.. they don't have a canteen neither they have arrangements for drinking water.. and we are asked to speak in low volume which is even more worst.. we've given 1000 rs.. just to see the outside view of sets.. which is covered with a black cover.. every set is covered with some or the other cover.. only the mandir was open.. which I expected to be open. But we couldn't enter the mandir.. just because the shooting was going on.. and this was the worst experience I've ever had a total money waste and time waste.. I am not gonna recommend this place to anyone.. also I am gonna rate it bad for the experience.. they should atheist equate the cost to the experience.. worst Place you'llever visit.. it's a no from my side for this place.. please do not visit this place and waste your money.....

Ramoji Film City: A Cinematic Wonderland

Ramoji Film City is the world's largest film studio complex, spread over 1,666 acres in Hyderabad, India. It is a popular tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors each year.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Ramoji Film City, and I was absolutely amazed. The film city is a sprawling complex, with something to offer everyone. There are vast gardens, large kitschy statues, replicas of popular historical monuments, open-air film sets, multi-cuisine restaurants, fast food joints, and stylish cafes.

One of the highlights of my visit was the bus tour of the film city. The tour takes you to all the major attractions, including the Bahubali set, the sci-fi set, and the Japanese garden. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and provides interesting insights into the history of the film city and the many films that have been shot there.

I also enjoyed visiting the various film sets. It was fascinating to see how movies are made and to learn about the different techniques that are used. I was particularly impressed by the Bahubali set, which is one of the largest film sets in the world.

In addition to the film sets, there are also a number of other attractions at Ramoji Film City, such as a stunt show, a bird show, and a cultural show. I didn't have time to see all of the attractions, but I enjoyed the ones that I did see.

Overall, I had a wonderful time at Ramoji Film City. It is a great place to visit for people of all ages. Whether you are a film lover, a history buff, or just looking for a fun day out, Ramoji Film City has something to offer you.

Here are some additional tips for visiting Ramoji Film City:

Wear comfortable shoes, as you will be doing a lot of walking. Bring a hat and sunscreen, as the weather can be hot and sunny. Carry a water bottle with you, as there are limited places to buy water inside the film city. Arrive early to avoid the crowds. Purchase your tickets online in advance to save time. Take the bus tour to get a good overview of the film city. Plan your visit carefully and choose the attractions that you are most interested in seeing.

I highly recommend visiting Ramoji Film City. It is a unique and...

My Google Review # 000297 STRICT NO-NO! Waste of time. Waste of money. Waste of public money. Waste of natural resources. Pay INR 1000 per seat, with no refreshments for 3 hr trip in a 52 seater bus. You cannot get down anywhere. Only where they want, you get down, take selfies and hop back again, like trained monkeys. Bus guide keeps screaming a run-down speech asking you to look left or right for a 3 second glimpse of some studio sets far away! Seriously?? Is this how you give an experience? Aim is to get you to the last point as fast as possible, which is a small set, only created for you guys. Here also, if you do not want to attend, you cannot come out of the set and stand on the road! The “bouncers” will keep asking you to not loiter around. No real stuff. Mismanaged dance shows, poorly lit wax studio having statues of pathetic Bollywood celebrities. The canteen is run by a lost soul with his lost-in-transit team. Imagine 50 people placing PRE-PAID order for snacks & when the snacks arrive, the canteen says there is no water bottle or drinking water arrangement. You need to buy soft drinks! The canteen is made on a military theme. But, most unpatriotic or disgusting thing was them pasting the gallantry medal pictures on the top of eating tables! How pathetic Bollywood can get, is easily experienced in these 3 hours. No doubt, the average Indian is BOYCOTTING Bollywood, who do not have basic courtesy of treating guests, respecting our own India culture and are highly UNPATRIOTIC too. Date of Experience: May 2022

HIGHLIGHT - If you have been to Hyderabad's version, you will likely find this visit a complete letdown. My recent visit to Mumbai Film City was far from what I had hoped. To start, the nearest metro station is Aarey, it is about 4 km away. From there, take an auto (no more than ₹150) straight to the official ticket counter. Be cautious, several individuals may try to sell you tickets along the way at inflated prices. Avoid them, as they are scammers. After a long wait, we were taken inside the premises by an AC bus. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming from the beginning. Compared to Hyderabad's Film City, this one feels small, restricted, and poorly organized. Most of what you see are large tin sheets covering the sets, there is no access to the actual sets themselves. It felt like being shown billboards of what you could see, but never actually do. The tour ends at Bollywood Park, which hosts a few staged performances. This was the only mildly enjoyable part. The on site restaurant is strictly vegetarian, which may not appeal to everyone, and the food was overpriced for its quality. Overall, Mumbai Film City lacks substance, feels commercialized, and fails to deliver the behind the scenes magic one would expect. If you have been to Hyderabad's version, you will likely find this visit a complete letdown.
