Have been visiting this toy train for almost 20 years now...it's a piece of our History..from school picnics to family picnics..no trip to SGNP is complete without a train ride on the Van Rani (jungle queen). It was closed for a few Years for Repairs though...but glad to have her back. I was surprised to see this train has featured in a few movies too...most notably...Amar, Akbar,Anthony it's in a song called "humko tumsey ho gaya hai pyaar kya karein" check this out on YouTube.. this train has two stations only Krishnagiri & Teenmurty...they used to have a stop here just for Fun like a real train...but they don't stop anymore...the ride is about 15-20 minutes in an almost 8 formation complete with hills, bridges, tunnels the beauty of this place really shows during the monsoons when everything is Green and Flowering...Always a pleasure to ride this beautiful train..thank you for a wonderfull...

Read moreIt's a jolly ride only for small children as they get to enjoy the train and the scenery around... There is a deer cage at the start which you get a small glimpse of and nothing else is waiting for the rest of the ride except for couples lurking around at creepy places... Waiting time on weekend is high... Can take this ride if you are with children, otherwise all you will see is few deers...
