Nagaland Science Centre — Attraction in Nagaland

This place has four components, a park, a science museum, a 3d theatre and a planetarium. The park is very nice and well maintained, however some of the components of the park related to scientific experiments are malfunctioning, the museum is also something that any science freak will love, however due to poor maintenance many components of the museum are not working, The 3D theatre and the planetarium has a very few audience, most of the shows are cancelled because there are no audience, however even if there is one person then also they will run the show, I along with my cousin went and we were the only two watching the 3D show and the planatoriom show. The science education is stuffed with lots of good information ideal for not only children's but for adults also. A science tutor should be there to give briefings to all the visitors in groups otherwise its just like an amusement park especially for children's who were all running around without gathering any knowledge. Apart from this the maintenance is very bad, i wish the department really pay attention and maintain it well or else let some private enterprise take over .

I was born an raised from this neighborhood so when it was newly inaugurated I was a kid then lucky me I got excess all the new innovative science experiments that they had exhibited those time,it was one of the best memories as a kid I had.Exploring science right to our eyes was unbelievable and an awesome experience and now it's been more than 10 + years and recently I had visited it was in poor condition...almost all of the instruments are dysfunctional now....I wish the department could do something about it soon....as it's so cool and educational to have a science Center in town specially for the youth minds to...
