Shri Jagannath temple(Odia: ଶ୍ରୀ ଜଗନ୍ନାଥ ମନ୍ଦିର) (popularly known as "Shabara Shrikshetra") is a temple located in Koraput, Odisha, India. It is not only built as an altar for worship, but also as a multipurpose area for Jagannath consciousness. Jagannath consciousness is the main theme of Jagannath which can not be confined within the limits of a traditional religious theological order, because it is a cult (or even a philosophical system).[1] It is originated from the tribal culture, and it has no antagonism towards any religion, caste or creed, Practice of tolerance in the real life of the individual and the society wedded to this ideal, is one piece used in the cult. Now a days, this temple becomes the main attraction for the Koraput town. The famous Ratha Yatra is also celebrated here in a grand way. The Temple is surrounded with a boundary wall. In order to reach at the Temple, one has to over come more than 100 steps, to see Lord Jagannath. The height of the temple rises to about 50 feet and has a four chambered Complex with Deula, Jagamohan, Nata Mandapa, and Bhoga Mandapa, closely affixed to each other. By 1982 all the side deities are established round the Temple-Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are worshipped in the main sanctum of the Temple. We called...
