Don't judge a book by its cover. But once I arrived at the hotel, I began to judge from the appearance. I started my steps for the stay because someone had booked a room for me while I was on holiday. Unfortunately, this hotel was the most disappointing place I have ever stayed.
In short, it was a horrible experience for me and could be for anyone who books a stay here, (Or you can also reserve it for someone if you're looking to take revenge on someone). The facility is incredibly unsanitary, with no maintenance and unprofessional personnel.
Endless issues: The pillow covers and the bedsheet were torn and extremely dirty. There is no washroom lock. No cabinet, table, or proper hooks for hanging or drying wet clothes; the existing locks were broken. Power points are not even working. Looking at rooms and hallways would make you think that cleanliness and hygiene never existed in the first place. Adding to this, Sometimes the water stops flowing, and there is no electricity in the rooms. Even with an inverter, they didn't think of providing at least a light bulb connection in each room.
Meanwhile, They dare to ask for full payment in advance, which is unfair given the poor conditions.
It was regrettable that I had to spend a night at this hotel. Nevertheless, the facilities, services, and overall experience are unreliable with the image this hotel tries to present.
There are two Hotel Mount Heaven locations. One is in Mali Sahi, which is a 4-star hotel. The other is in Bhandisahi, in front of the block office in Koraput which has a 1-star rating. Be careful not to be misled by their offers.
This hotel does not deserve any stars. If ratings could go below zero, that would be fitting. My stay here was regrettable and unpleasant, and I strongly recommend that others...
Read moreOur experience at this hotel was the worst we have ever had. The place is extremely unhygienic, with very poor maintenance and unprofessional staff. Key issues:
The washroom lock was missing. No cabinet, table, or proper hooks for hanging clothes; the existing ones were broken. Pillow covers were torn, and the bedsheet was soaked in oil. The water heater was not working; we had to request hot water separately for each use, one by one. None of the power points worked for charging phones. The only functioning socket was the TV socket, which was highly inconvenient. Cleanliness and hygiene were utterly neglected. Adding to this, they demand full payment in advance, which is unreasonable considering the appalling conditions.
It was an unfortunate situation for us as we couldn’t book a better hotel in advance and had to stay here for a night. However, the amenities, services, and overall experience are completely misaligned with the image this hotel tries to portray.
This hotel doesn’t deserve any stars. If ratings could go into the negative, it would be the most appropriate in every sense. Staying here was a regrettable and unpleasant experience, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. Even a railway station waiting room would be a far...
Read moreIt is the worst hotel I have seen so far, the hotel manager and the owner are literally liers, unfriendly, disgusting people. They will tell you that there is water heater, free wifi, clean bedroom and toilet, but the reality is the water heater is not working, a snail will go faster than the wifi speed and some times in night the wifi just stops. The train toilet is more cleaner than the hotel toilet, the room lock is broken, there is no drinkable water and many more... The interesting thing is if you go to hotel, the manager will take the full payment in advance and then he will just disappear from the hotel, and if by chance you discuss the problems faced in hotel with the manager, then he will totally go speechless, and he will tell you to talk to the owner and if you call the owner he will not respond to your call, and the manager will start...
