Read moreI recently visited Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, and the experience was very memorable. I stayed at Shri Ram Portico Hotel, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The hotel is comfortable, well-maintained, and conveniently located—just about 500 meters from the temple entry. This made it really easy to walk to the temple for darshan without any hassle.
The darshan itself was smooth and fulfilling. On weekdays, the crowd was moderate, so the wait time wasn’t too long, and the whole process felt calm and well managed. However, as I heard and also observed, weekends see a much heavier rush of devotees, so planning your visit on weekdays is a good idea if you want a quicker darshan. The temple atmosphere is devotional and uplifting, and standing before Shyam Baba fills you with a deep sense of peace and positivity.
The area around the temple is lively, with plenty of shops, prasad counters, and other facilities available for devotees. Overall, my visit was comfortable and spiritually satisfying, and the stay at Shri Ram Portico added to the convenience. I would definitely recommend Khatu Shyam Ji Temple for anyone seeking blessings and a...
