JK Desert Safari Osian — Attraction in Rajasthan

A spectacular experience which will never be forgotten.

We happened to visit Jodhpur and was exploring safari places and found many people who were offering safari experience. However, our eyes caught JK Desert Safari at Osian which is around 77 kms from old city Jodhpur. All the phone conversation happened with Mr. Chandan bhai. He promised the best experience and he wanted us to be at the place before sunrise so that he can take us to the thar desert to make us experience sunrise. We duly followed his orders and reached there by 5AM and from there it was a 15 km Jeep ride to thar desert.

Now starts the original fun. Moolchand sir, this man is a legend and he is the father of Chandan bhai. He is aged perfectly (65 years young) and still has the heart of youth. This man has complete knowledge about the trail and his stunts on Jeep over the sand dunes were worth experiencing and will give you the best adrenaline rush. Very friendly and very cooperative. We were taken to their farmhouse and was given tea and snacks. Hospitality of them were beyond explanations.

Post safari, they took us to their house and we felt that as our house. The hospitality was amazing and flawless.

I promise to visit again in December and also I strongly recommend to experience true safari from JK Desert Safari...

We visited JK Dessert Safari on the very last day of our Rajasthan trip and it turned out to be best part. They came to pick up us at bus stand in Thar, where we left our car.

Upon reaching they welcome with Hot tea at one of the camp, which is itself a great experience. Then we went for a camel ride till bottom of the hill where we started our jeep safari. The breeze were cold and dunes were scary. But driver was super trained and knew the terrain very well. It was adventurous & full filing. Then they dropped us at sand dune to enjoy the sunset and click some photos. The driver was very talented who chocked some amazing photos.

Coming back to resort, the cultural program started. The singers and dancer were very talented and engaging. After a great show we sat down for a very nice home cook food. Each food ingredients were brought from the resort farming area only. So the food was very refreshing and satisfying.

The best part of this resort is the people of it, they make you feel some homely. Each of the resort staffs were so welcoming and make you feel comfortable. I am carrying one of the best experience with me. Thanks a lot...

Probably, no other offer a better deal thank JK PS: Dont expect Jaisalmer like Sand dunes in Osian. Be in time for the rides to maximize your beautiful experience.

I was a solo traveller, visited in October 21. Price of Safari was well optimized by JK Safari, as per my requirement. Mr Chandan Singh and his team is well mannered, polite and picked me in his own vehicle from my Hotel in the early morning for a sunrise desert safari. They offered a long Jeep safari and had an excellent experience at Sunrise point in dunes. Then had fun filled long Camel ride.
