Sri Panchkund Shiva Temple — Attraction in Rajasthan

I stumbled upon this on a motorcycle trip, and it's a peaceful place for those who appreciate ancient temples and simple village surroundings. The main (Pandava-built) temple there is approximately 5000 years old - which was hard to get my head around! The fact that a great devotee of Krishna (Arjuna) built this temple for the worship of Lord Shiva is a great testimonial to his humility and total dedication to Krishna's vision, as Lord Shiva is revered by many Vaishnavas as the greatest devotee. There is also a very nice rich red Ganesha temple opposite, which seems fitting also - knowing the relationship of Lord Shiva and Sri Ganesha. Note: Picture posted here is...

This is Shri Panchkund Shiva Temple. When we went there, we saw that when the five Pandavas came here, they performed a yagya here and hence ponds were made for them.Which is still situated there and we felt very good seeing all this, there are many temples there and there is a Gomukh situated in a mountain from which water keeps coming in the form of a waterfall and we felt very good Seeing...

Nice place historic place..... Adventures for jungle treakking...... pushkar city view ........ All the place Peacocks and monkeys ( langur ) .......cows ........ Road side dirty plastic bags.....garbage....... No clean.......
