This review was long pending. I finally took time to write it. If you ever want to visit Rajgir, then do not look for other options if a cottage at Pandu Pokhar is available on your travel date.
To be honest, while booking my stay, I was a bit skeptical as my mother had been operated few months ago. But I spoke to the manager on phone and his tone was confident about the property and its facility. I made the booking and do not regret it.
Travel to Pandu Pokhar- We reached Patna airport on 8th May at 5:45PM. We got a cab at 6:30PM. At around 9PM we called the reception to check the restaurant kitchen timings. They were closing in at 9:30PM. We said we would reach by 9:20 PM and requested them to take our dinner order. They accepted it. So, the service experience was great before we arrived there. So, it takes around 2:45 mins to reach there from patna airport.
Stay at the resort Our check-in was smooth and the cottage was really nice and comfortable. The weather was really hot but the ac worked fine and the bed was good to relax your back after travel. The resort for its price is offering a 4 star service. The activities that a guest gets as complimentary with the stay is really nice. In a 4-star hotel apart from gym and swimming pool , you can do nothing. But here with kids you can ride a bike within the resort premises, do rappling , play snooker, dart, shooting, horse riding, and few other games. There also a nice amphitheater and place for meditation with a Buddha statue.
Food at the resort - We were tired after our travel and the dinner to our surprise was as if we are having home made food. It was super delicious and indeed finger licking good.
The morning breakfast and our 3rd day lunch was another treat for our taste buds. Special thanks to the kitchen and service staff. I noted every staff's name to mention them in the review. They all deserve salary raise and lots of appreciation for their work. Thanks to Vikash Kumar, Sikander Kumar, Akash Kumar, Luvkush Kumar, Vishal Kumar from the service team. And thanks to Prem Kumar, Ballu Kumar, Santosh Kumar from the kitchen team.
Thank you to the entire resort team for making our stay memorable. I will definitely...
