We recently visited NaSSA Dinosaur Park & Museum with my wife and our 1-year-old daughter, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience for our little family.
The moment we entered, we were greeted by life-size dinosaur models that were both impressive and exciting—not just for kids, but for adults too! The park is thoughtfully designed with vibrant installations, interactive zones, and well-maintained walking paths, making it very baby- and stroller-friendly. Our daughter was fascinated by the colors, sounds, and movement, especially the animatronic dinosaurs that brought the prehistoric era to life in such an engaging way.
The museum section was equally interesting, featuring fossils, informative displays, and hands-on exhibits that explain the history of dinosaurs and evolution in a way that’s easy to understand. It’s a great learning experience not just for older kids, but for parents as well.
What made the visit even more special was the peaceful, clean environment and courteous staff. There were shaded rest areas, washrooms, and snack stalls that made it comfortable for families with toddlers.
In short, NaSSA Dinosaur Park is a perfect weekend getaway for families. Whether you're looking to educate, entertain, or just enjoy quality time outdoors, this park has it all. Seeing our daughter’s eyes light up made it...
Read moreNassaa Museum, also known as the Dinosaurs Museum in Mahabalipuram, is a fun and exciting place, especially for kids. It’s right next to the Seashell Museum complex and is filled with large dinosaur models that move and make sounds. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a different world.
At the entrance, there’s a giant dinosaur egg display that’s great for taking photos. Inside, you’ll find life-sized models that move their heads and make roaring sounds. It’s playful, engaging, and definitely keeps children entertained.
The museum is part of a larger complex that includes other attractions like the Pearl Museum, Mineral Museum, Aquarium, and more. So you can spend a good amount of time visiting everything together. Most people spend around two hours in total if they go through all the sections.
The whole place is neat and organised, with proper walkways, signs, and clean facilities like a washroom and a small canteen. It can get crowded on weekends or during school tours, so a weekday visit is usually more peaceful.
If you’re in Mahabalipuram with family, this is a nice change from the usual temple visits. It’s light, fun, and a good option for kids who...
