The temple was constructed in 1933 by Guruji C.B. Sathpathy. Image You can also come across the Raja Ganapathy (Ganesh) Temple before reaching the Saibaba temple which is beautifully carved on white marble with Saibaba in sitting posture. You can go near the Peedam to pray and join the meditation for as long as you want in the meditation hall. The temple complex also houses shrines devoted to Lord Shiva and her consort Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva, Lord Rama, Lord Muruga, and his consorts Devyani and Valli, Lord Durga, Lord Krishna, Maha Vishnu, and other deities. Some of the daily activities at the temple include performing Bhajan, Vocal Music, Kirtan, etc; a holy bath of Sri Saibaba; Morning Arthi or Kakad Arthi; Noon Aarti or Madhyanha Aarti; Evening Aarti or Dhuparti; Night Aarti or Shejarti and Abhishekam. The Dhuni Puja is a must-attend. Baba’s Dhuni is kept burning at all times, like the Shirdi Temple. You can perform chanting of Baba’s dhun and have darshan of Sri Sai Baba too. There is a walking path about the Dhuni arranged with acupressure stones. Once inside the temple, you cannot perform any poojas. You’ll be able to find a marble statue of Sri Sai Baba that is 5.5ft tall installed in the main temple sanctum, whilst all the pratima are made out of black stone. Devotees can touch the statue and get a satisfied Darshan at the temple sanctum. A 3ft statue of the Baba is installed in the Dwarakamai alongside the main sanctum temple. The temple which is hexagonal in structure measuring 100 feet high is provided with concrete ladders to climb up to the top. The temple encloses a Danvanthari tree. Other amenities include Gowshala, guest house, a free health care centre, a stall for buying pooja items, a book shop that deals with Sai-related CDs & books, a canteen, etc. In addition to the Aarthi, special poojas are done only on request. The poor are fed here in large numbers. Thread ceremonies, marriage ceremonies, and other social events are also conducted on request.

Shirdi Sai Baba temple is dedicated to the 18th century saint. Born in 1835, Sai Baba came to Shirdi when he was 16. Many people reported miracles that had happened in their lives. Even after death, he continues to work miracles for those who believe in him. This temple was built in 1993 near the coast of Bay of Bengal. The main temple is hexagonal in structure made of white marble. The white marble Sai Baba idol is in sitting posture & an exact replica of the one in Shirdi. Beside the sanctum is a special room where the holy fire (Dhuni), burns continuously, since Baba's days. This is an unique feature of the temple. One can see a small temple with a bronze idol of Sai Baba temple at the entrance. The next complex has shrines for the other deities made of black stone. You can find Vallabha Ganapathy idol with 10 arms, Dattatreya Shiva & Parvati, Durga Devi, Hanuman facing Ram, Sita & Lakshman, Vishnu facing Navagrahas, Venkateswara, Krishna & Radha, Muruga & his consorts, Valli & Deivanai. To fulfill their wishes, devotees tie a string dipped in turmeric around the Kalapataru tree on Thur & Fri. Those suffering from ailments take nine rounds around the Dhanvanthari tree, to get cured.

A green & serene temple complex for Shirdi Sai located few meters off ECR at Injambakkam. While heading towards Injambakkam from Neelangarai, look for "Food Village" to your left. Take the lane adjacent to this place and few meters down there you would find this temple to your right. Well gated temple complex with ample parking. So you need not worry about parking hassles. Security there would guide you well. Completely surrounded by trees (like a solai vanam) and chirping birds, makes this place even more close to spirituality by its natural and peaceful ambience. Walk few meters within the complex you would find the deities vinayagar, shiva, mahalakshmi, ram sita, anjaneya, muruga, etc., Once done with worshipping them, you would head towards the large gopuram with dome structure where Baba can be worshipped. Baba idol is magnificently placed at the centre and resembles to Shirdi deity made with white marble. Once done with worship, you can come down to sit down in the main hall and Medidate facing baba. Or there is also a Meditation room beneath the main deity. Overall a best place to experience peace and spirituality in the lap of nature.
