Sri Kaattu Veera Anjaneyar Temple is situated in Devasamudram village, near Salem Bypass, Krishnagiri. The worshipping deity, Sri Kaattu Veera Anjaneyar fulfills prayer of thousands of devotees. The devotees tie a Prarthana Coconut, submitting their prayers to the God. It is believed that the prayers are accepted and fulfilled by the presiding deity within a short span of time. The Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated in a colourful way every year. Thousands of devotees from across the states of Tamilnadu, Andhrapradesh and Karnataka attend the celebrations, rather thronge, with lots of fervor in worship of Hanuman.

Besides, there is a separate sannadi for Sri Venkateswara Swamy also within the campus. The annual rituals like Bramotchavam, wherein the procession of Lord Venkateshwara on various vahanas like, Annapatchi Vahan, Simha Vahan, Kalpavriksha Vahan, Gaja Vahan, Anjaneyar Vahan, Garuda Vahan, Aswa Vahan, Suyapraba Vahan and Chandraprabha Vahan is carried out. The Bramotchavam attracts hundreds of devotees and they actively participate in all the festivities connected with the rituals. Sri Kattu Veera Anjaneyar Temple is situated in Devasamudram near Krishnagiri. In this temple, lord Anjaneya is seen in slanting position. Thirukovilur Sithar is the one who understood the power of the place and let people know it.

It's believed that this temple was built during Vijayanagar Kingdom. Before many years, it was a forest area where the temple is located and so the name Kattu (Forest in Tamil) Veera Anjaneyar.

Another interesting thing that, there a Nandeeswarar rock which is located on right hand side of the main shrine and it's believed that Nandeeswarar is growing in size. Yoga Narasimmar and Lakshmi Thayar are also present there near Anjaneyar.

Devotees make prayers by offering a saffron bag with coconut inside which can be seen tied by priests in a area inside temple, with serial numbers. Then devotees go around the temple 11 times, chanting Jai Sri Ram holy mantra. It's believed that Anjaneyar will fulfil the wishes within 3 months. After the fulfilment of their wish, devotees will again go to the temple and get back the saffron bag by saying the serial number and make sweets with the coconut...

I started to Visit this temple 5 years ago and whenever I feel low or if i feel something is not going the way it has to be then I will definitely visit this Temple, as soon as I Visit this Temple I feel relaxed and rejuvenated. This temple is situated in Krishnagiri and there is lot of faith and belief when you visit the Temple.

If any of your work or something is stopping and you if you want that to happen then, when you visit the Temple, you can buy Raw Coconut which is available for ₹100 at the Temple then holding that coconut in your hand you will have to go around the Temple (Pradakshina) for 11 Times chanting "Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram). After 11 Rounds of Pradakshina then you will have to keep that coconut in the allocated place inside the Temple and within 3 Months what ever the wish that you have wished for then it would come true. I have personally experienced this and after 3 months if your wish has come true then there will be one acknowledgement card/ receipt would be given to you while you buy the coconut and you can collect that coconut after 3 Months by submitting the...

On the side of Salem krishnagiri high way there is a small temple for anjaneya the monkey god. The issue there is no parking for Cars .had gone on a weekend (sat) too much crowd and they don't know to manage the crowd. The speciality of this temple is you can tie a dry coconut by paying 70rs and u have to go round the temple 11 times and u have to chant Jai ram Jai ram Jai Jai ram and u have to sternly put across your wish. One wish one coconut. And once the angapradasam is over u have to inform the authories and place the coconut near the hanuman photo which will be tied to a bar if the wish is fulfilled u have to go the templw and take the coconut and break it and offer it to the temple priest he will do the pooja and u have to bring the coconut and make a sweet using the sweet and have it like a Prasad. The nh44 is maintained very well and there is no need to take any diversions to teach the temple. The place is getting developed ,maybe in the future we may get car parks and bike parking facility. Better to visit on a weekday than a weekend

Must visit temple if you are near Hosur or Bangalore. Well maintained and good ambience. This temple is located at Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu is said to be 2500 years old and Hanuman. ensures that the one wish which one pray with full devotion is said to come true within 3 months. There will be counter in front of temple and Rs.100/- a saffron bag with coconut, betel leaves will be given to us which has a number written on it and one card containing the same number. back to us. After darshan, need to do pradikshna 11 of the temple chanting the mantra “sri Ram jai Ram Jai Jai Jai Ram”. After pradikshna is over, the saffron bag is kept along with the other devotees bags separately for 3 months. It is believed that the one wish which you want to be fulfilled gets fulfilled, and once the wish is fulfilled you are expected to return and claim the saffron bag from the temple.
