On 20th Sep 2018, I visited the Dream World Amusement at LDA Park, Ashiyana, Lucknow in the evening. I was there with my family consisting of three Generations. Me, my wife, son, daughter, son in law and Grand daughter aged 3 years. My grand daughter was taking the Mini Toy Train ride and after about three rounds there was a big crashing and rattling sound and the Toy Train was derailed due to breakage of one of the wheels. The staff present were tottaly discourtious and did not disclose the reason for the accident. On strong insistence they called their G. M. (Ms. Rolly), who came after half an hour. I asked for the SOP (Standard Operations Procedures) and the details of permissible speed at which the Toy Train is operated and safety measures to avoid accidents. However, no answer and information was shared. It is astonishing that there was no proper cleanliness of either the park or the gagedts. There was no facility of even First Aid to take care of any accidental injuries. The most hopeless and hurting was that the staff on duty were highly arrogant, discourtious and illmannered. A very budding kid and citizen of this country aged 3 years was terribly shocked and our Family members were speechless and the staff present did not feel concerned at all. A very sad and alarming state of affair. I will request the LDA authorities, particularly Mr. Prabhu Narain Singh the VC, LDA to scrutinise the SOPs of the Dream World whether they at all adhere to them and lack of gross negligence of maintenance. In fact the tenure of operation of the service provider should be terminated if they are not upto the standards of operation of such a show. An alarming warning all who are visiting the Dream World Amusement Park at Ashiyana to be careful with their children while visting this horrible place. I recommend that the name of this park should be changed from " Dream World Amusement Park" to " Nightmare...
