Royal Rangoli Restaurant in LDA Colony, Lucknow is a good place if you are looking for family dining with a nice ambience. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and has a peaceful atmosphere that makes it comfortable for casual meals as well as small celebrations. The interiors are attractive and the seating arrangement is spacious enough for groups.

Coming to the food – the taste is really satisfying. The Paneer dishes are well-cooked, fresh, and full of flavor. I tried the Paneer and Onion Paratha, both were simply awesome. The paratha was soft yet crispy at the edges, and paired perfectly with the paneer. Dishes like Dal Makhani are also worth recommending. The overall pricing is quite reasonable, around ₹200–400 per person, which makes it a good value-for-money option.

However, one area that needs improvement is the staff behavior. While most of them are polite, sometimes they don’t behave in a professional manner. Laughing or giggling while watching customers, especially female customers, is not acceptable and gives a negative impression. A little more professionalism from the staff would make the experience much better.

I visited Royal Rangoli Restaurant for my daughter's birthday. I booked this restaurant on per plate system and give a round off figure to expect 15 guests. They made a note of it. Unfortunately, one family was missed from the celebration and we had only 12 guests onboard. When I spoke to their owner/ manager Mr. Mahesh Gupta about the bill, he told me that you have booked meal for 15 people that's why you must have to pay accordingly. I understand, that sometimes hotels follow these policies but then it is their responsibility also, to clarify each and every policy when someone is booking their hotel. Mr. Mahesh Gupta blamed us that we should have already known about the policy (without anyone letting us know). When I asked him to at least consider our long-standing relationship, he did not agree to it too. He was stubborn and rude to his customers and to his staff too who are at their very young age and trying to get well into their jobs. Royal Rangoli was my family's favorite and only destination to party but this incident made me cautious about the substandard professionalism of this restaurant.

I would suggest people to take extra caution on Royal Rangoli's policies and ensure to meet Mr. Mahesh Gupta before they celebrate any occasion there. You probably won't know what worse is coming to you after having a good time with your family...
