Not sure from where to start. I would like to start from the prices. I went to this cafe with my friends. Major issue was to reach the place as its placed in between the lake. First we paid ₹500 for the boats to get there. We hired 2 so ₹1000 was gone to the boat owners. Then we reached the place and paid ₹150 per person to enter the cafe. Another ₹750 gone as we were 5 people. Then the aquarium part or the maintenance of the cafe. It was not that amazing at all. We were still happy with the aquarium but the sitting arrangements were not that good. Coming to the food part. We checked the menu. Already the list was quite small and in that list too whatever we wanted was not available. I was seriously disappointed as we paid more than ₹1.5k to reach there just to know the food mentioned in the menu is not available. Our mood was spoiled already. We wandered around while the time our order was processing it was not that great but the hype only. Honestly if you love fishes or boating then go there and have fun. The cafe part was not good. Food was average only as the portion was small. They need to maintain the place and do some renovations or something. My experience was so so with the regret of losing money as everything seemed pricey but again inflation is on the rise. Worst experience till now......regretted going there...first the entry fee rs 100 just to put your foot on that land ......not even a good aura ....that fee is because there are fishes in aquariums inside but just to see 20 25 small aquariums its felt expensive...but still didn't mind it though......but the thing i regretted the most was eating there.....never ever ever make a mistake if eating there ....the portions are very very very small and it's very very very expensive... like paying around rs 400 will give amount of pasta that a kindergartener will eat...the amount was also not a factor to mind that much because expensive things cost I know.....but if it's expensive atleast it should taste good.......its worst.....the pasta tasted worst...coffee tasted worst......in the name of veg puffs they gave paties which I dont think so even costed then 20 rupees...worst experience.......all the amount they take is for the fishes...music and useless decoration.......its better to eat at your hotel rather than eating there....they should take this review as a constructive criticism and should improve their quality ...since people travel from far to come to bhimtal and come there to eat and they are setting bad image by doing this...instead of fooling people they should actually start improving their...
