Explore Corbett — Attraction in Uttarakhand

I booked group tour for a weekend getaway with Explore Corbett. The host Mukesh was helpful right from the planning stage. He clearly described the package (place of stay, Safari, day trek and soft adventure activities). After confirmation he explained the ideal time to start from Delhi and roads to take to reach traffic free. The place of stay was very clean and comfortable with homely food. The safari was afternoon one, the guide was well experienced and showed us many small animals like barking deer, Elephants etc. We could only hear the samba call when they spot tiger and tiger roar. Ours was the first safari among hundreds of safari Mukesh organised, where the tiger was not spotted as per Mukesh. Night ended with a camp fire and songs. Next day they took us for a day trek through a remote village. The trek was refreshing and easy one about 10 kms through the jungle. We came back to the resort and surprised to see the soft adventure setup which everyone enjoyed. Mukesh being a wild life photographer himself is very knowledgeable person about the entire Corbett safari, he and his guides were extremely helpful in finding good spots for wildlife photography. I have been traveling to Corbett for some time now and always felt that it lacks an organised service provider which can bring everything under one roof. I was very pleased to interact with representative of Explore Corbett at the resort I was staying in. Since we were late to book our Safari , they recommended a day trip to silent valley and a small trek. I must say it was a fabulous outing , silent valley was too good, gypsy picked us up from resort , dropped us at a point from where we trekked for about 1.5km to find this hidden jewel . It was an out of the world experience to be in that valley , we crossed river on a bamboo raft ,.snacks were organised by them.

Finally they could also book a Safari for us on 3rd of our stay.

I would definitely recommend them for all your adventure activities , day trips...

One of my favourite family trip in recent past. As I was visiting India after long and wished to spend some quality time with the whole family we chose to get off the road n go to Corbett. But was not really keen on safari or any cliche thing. Explore corbett made sure to give me one of the unique experience with the accommodation and activities. We chose to go to Silent valley as I get excited by the idea of hiking.

You can reach the place easy by driving down to a place and do a small trekk to the valley. We had kids and oldies and they did the trekk with no difficulty.
