Rishikesh adventure park | Hikers Adventure Park — Attraction in Uttarakhand

We went to HAP as a group of 13 people. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone due to following reasons. Some of the activities here are extremely unsafe and very risky. Paintball- the gear (helmet and protective vest + overall suit) is dated, and doesn’t provide proper protection. In fact its condition is a hazard in itself. The gloves were torn and smelled of sweat. The ground is slippery and full of puddles and mud, making it risky to run. If you fall, you are sure to loose helmet and could get hurt. The karts in go-karting are local made jugaads at best. The protection on seats were missing , the steering too hard, track is too narrow, no separate lane for safe exit from the track, the batteries failed during drive causing the kart to stop. The list is endless. And the helmets smelled so bad that I couldn’t even explain. It seems they have never been cleaned in years. In fact this can be said about all protective equipment in all activities be it roller coaster zip line, giant swing, climbing, etc. Inadequate staff and equipment. We had to wait for our turn as there only 3 people to manage all activities inside HAP. So if they are busy with someone doing a particular activity, all others have to wait in queue. Similarly, they often had only one harness for each activity. So till one person finishes and return the harness, the next one simply waits. Can’t even prepare in advance to save time. The equipment and hardware seemed dated and poorly or not at all maintained. The ropes, locks, etc were all corroding badly and worn out.

There are two companies inside HAP booking office, so you have to make separate payments at separate counters depending on which activity you choose, which is a big hassle.

There is no proper space to sit and relax between activities or when waiting for the activity. No refreshments either.

They guided us with patience and enthusiasm, making sure we were comfortable and having fun. The ambience of the park is vibrant, filled with energy and positivity. It’s also a great place for families, groups of friends, and even solo adventurers. I genuinely had the time of my life and created so many beautiful memories. A well-organized, safe, and truly enjoyable experience for the whole family As a parent, the first thing I look for in any recreational place is safety—and this adventure park exceeded all expectations. Everything is very well-managed, and the staff is highly professional and courteous. The safety protocols are properly implemented, and each activity is supervised by trained personnel, which gave me full peace of mind. My family had an amazing time. The range of activities is impressive—suitable for kids, teenagers, and adults alike. It’s rare to find a place that offers so much fun without compromising on discipline, cleanliness, and security.
