If you happen to be near Rishikesh, it is one activity you can't miss. Make sure that river rafting is on as it is a seasonal thing which is closed in rainy season. If you are adventurous do the 16 km (Shivpuri) strerch, thiugh it is not exactly 26km, its much much less.Onlune or offline booking is useless as you will get your chance only once a raft is free so it's better to reach booking area at Tapovan directly and negotiate, I am sure there are other nearby booking hubs also.
