Read morethis is popularly known as Suruchi bagh beach and has a newly well laid out approach road which is motorable.well laid out parking space made available. Understand that sewrage going parallel to the approach road is proposed to be repaired by VVMC.the embankment on the left side constructed to stop high tide water is good for walk. one on the right side is currently under construction. Though there is some litter contributed by visitors ,much of it comes when the sea throws it back during high tides. The chowpatty is good for walking,jogging esp in Mornings when the weather is pleasant and atmosphere is serene,calm and quiet enhanced by the background natural music of the tides. V good for a walk or jog for 5;6 kms either on the embankment or at the Chowpatty. only issue is of some visitors recklessly taking bikes and cars right up to embankment instead of parking at the gate since there is no security arranged by the VVMC.A bit of self restraint/regulations will enhance the beauty...
