I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Krishnanagar Rajbari, and it was a remarkable experience. The Rajbari is a place steeped in history and culture, and it left a lasting impression on me. The moment I set foot on the premises, I was transported to a bygone era. The ambiance at Krishnanagar Rajbari is truly captivating, evoking a sense of old-world charm and grandeur. The well-maintained gardens, ancient trees, and the serene surroundings make it a delightful place to explore. The Rajbari itself is a splendid old building, showcasing a blend of Mughal and European architectural styles. The intricate carvings and detailed designs reflect the craftsmanship of its time. The historical significance of this place is palpable as you walk through its corridors and rooms. One of the highlights of my visit was the enchanting Durga Puja celebration that took place within the Krishnanagar Rajbari. The beautifully designed Durga idol and the vibrant festivities added an extra layer of cultural richness to the experience. However, I should note that the wait time to enter was somewhat long; we had to wait for about 10 minutes before gaining access. Additionally, the road conditions leading to the Rajbari are not the best, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Despite this, the experience is well worth it. As you explore the area, you'll find numerous stalls offering local treats and crafts. This adds a lively and colorful aspect to the visit, but it can also contribute to congestion during peak times. In summary, my visit to the Krishnanagar Rajbari was a memorable one. The captivating ambiance, the historical significance of the building, and the beauty of the Durga Puja celebration left me with a deeper appreciation for the cultural heritage of the region. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait to enter, and the road conditions might be a bit challenging. Nonetheless, the overall experience and the vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit destination. Also side note it also had a nursery on...

Yes,welcome for its artistic design, sclapture, texture,it's height & symmetry,It seems to be newly builder.Secondly it is of wide and open space help us to move around but only single entrence and exit wide path though in the extreme front there are two gates that are not maintained discipline.Thirdly in the entrance of inside the temple courtyard ,two side of the path there was plenty flower and trees seedlings looks natural fresh and greenery,as we turn right we could see the temple full of people to withnesed the Ma Durga idol, but we think it is of very gorgious oldest puza temple corridor, the environment is such as if I have reached in some holly place.I show my respect by folding my two hands and bow my head, before that I already undress my shoes out side temple. There is conch's sound, dhuk & kadhi rhythem took me to some other unseen place. Then I saw opposite of Ma Durga, little far there was kings previously setting Dias with round pillow and decorated almirah, Another figure of boat running in water with king and his companion. After move towards left and left there I find different pictures drawn by students and it was really made beautify along with the rhituals of puza. Thereafter I was moving towards exit, find different stalls, food items etc so business man can earn their breads, but mentally I felt that in the temple I might have left many thing to be unseen,I like to enjoy much time ,but I have to go long before to sleep, though my it not putmit.Actuallt it was on 6th oct,19 again on 7th also I visited ,I miight have written much so let me...

This is one of the oldest structure of Krishna Nagar. Very old place and one of the most the one of the most historical place in whole Nadia. It is a great place to go and see if you go on the Thakur dln you you can see the first Jagadhatri Puja Vedi was there. Whole story behind it of at a time when Raja Krishna Chandra loves to do Durga Puja but a time came Raja Krishna Chandra take up to jail for some reason but when you was free to come you are coming on a boat. At that time Durga Puja already ended Raja Krishna Chandra failed very sad because he didn't attend the Durga Puja. So when you got home he was sleeping at that time he got a dream that Maa Devi Durga came in his dream and say that go do my Pooja in form of Maa jagatdhari. At the time the first the world's first Jagadhri Pooja was done. From at the time the jagadhatri Puja in the Durga Puja of Krishna Nagar Rajbari was done there.
