Besides the fact that the island itself is naturally gorgeous yet the way they organize ferry queuing is a total nightmare.

I promise you'd better get a small fan or do not enter the crowded in front of the habour at the waiting area before your ferry is arrived.

If you are planning to come with senior people, make sure you are aware of how hot and crowded this habour is.

Pelabuhan Buyuk adalah salah satu pelabuhan yang melayani rute penyeberangan dari dan ke Pulau Bali. Pelabuhan ini terletak di utara Nusa Penida yang mana menurut saya merupakan tempat paling strategis untuk mencapai wisata di Barat maupun Timur pulau karena waktu tempuh menuju keduanya relatif sama. Saya kurang tahu, tapi sepertinya tiap perusahaan feri penyeberangan memiliki dermaga mereka sendiri tetapi yang jelas, dermaga di pelabuhan ini sangat indah dan rapi. Seperti dermaga yang dimiliki oleh private resort. Air lautnya suppeeeeeeeeeeeeer jernih dan berwarna hijau kebiru-biruan, benar-benar seperti air kolam bahkan lebih bening. Kita bisa dengan mudah melihat dasar lautan dari atas.

Pelabuhan Buyuk juga dekat dengan pasar jadi kalau ke sini, cukup mudah mencari makanan. Ada banyak jasa rental motor juga di sekitar sini tetapi saran saya, usahakan sudah menghubungi jasa rental motor terlebih dahulu sebelum berangkat ke Nusa Penida untuk menghemat waktu. Nanti, petugas rental akan menjemput kita di pelabuhan. Bisa sekalian jadi tempat bertanya arah ke hotel atau...

Scam pier for fast boats to arrive. Relatively new pier which is nice, though they make you pay an "entrance" fee (apparently option) to the island and overcharge you for taxi services. Make sure to have your pickup booked with the hotel before. No cell reception. They asked for 150k for a 2min drive. We ended up walking 5min...
