Read moreThis is a beautiful spot near the bratan lake. On days when it rains it becomes even more beautiful and breathtaking.
The most from the lake rises and covers this area in fog. The area is atleast 10 degrees below temperatures in Kuta and around 5 degrees cooler than Ubud.
The selfie spot has been made quite well by the owner who hangs around most of the time to ensure the tourists have a nice time.

The heart prop, the boat prop, the swing prop, the nest prop are some of the props which make your photos sweeter.
It is easy to miss this place if it was not for Google maps.
You do feel the ricketiness of the place even though they have tried their best to secure it with bamboo, metal and rubber bands.
At the end of the props is where you feel the place moving a little. It is better to approach the props cautiously and slowly to avoid any mishap.
The owners are also in a catch 22 here. If the install a back wall the photos will not get the backdrop of the mountains or the bratan lake. If they don't then the place does look a little unsafe.
They have installed nets below many props to stop the fall incase someone trips and which makes you feel safe.
The kids 5 and 4 years were allowed free. We were charged 100000idr which is around 7 dollars per adult which is pricey but totally worth it.
You get photos to cherish for life. Once you are inside you can take photos at leisure but if you are a family it will not take you more than an hour for your best pics.
The employees help you with posing and also take photos from your cellphone. They however do hurry you from prop to prop since they need to get more tourists inside and going.
Also it would be better if they knew how to operate DSLRs. With everyone carrying one nowadays.
There is one girl at the reception who speaks decent English and can converse well. Other than that you would normally need to use very basic English or sign language.
We had to personally wait for an hour at huts they have made outside for rains before we could buy our tickets and get inside.

Read moreI have never encountered such rude behavior in Bali as I did at this place. First, my husband went to ask about the prices. Then he came back to get me and our daughter so we could take a few photos together. As soon as I stood near the entrance and looked at the view — without even entering — the young woman collecting tickets immediately started scolding me loudly, saying I had to buy a ticket right away and that I wasn’t even allowed to look.
I calmly explained that I was just standing outside, waiting for my family and simply wanted to take a quick look from a distance. But she continued with a very rude and dismissive tone, insisting that even a small glimpse from the outside wasn’t allowed.
This was extremely unpleasant behavior, especially considering that most places in Bali welcome tourists with warmth and kindness. Here, however, it felt like nothing more than exploiting nature to make money, with no respect or hospitality.
Instead of paying for tickets, we left feeling disappointed and disrespected. Just five minutes away, there’s another viewpoint — perhaps with slightly less expansive views, but the staff there is incredibly kind, the price is much more reasonable, and you can enjoy the scenery without being treated poorly.
I definitely do not recommend this place. You’re better off going a minute further and experiencing the beauty of Bali in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere — not in a place that feels like a tourist money trap with no regard for...
