The Heritage Palace is a good place to visit when you visited Solo.
The size of the area are not that big, so it is considered really quick to have a look around the place.
There are 2 types of tickets being sold here. One is for the outdoor area only and the other is for the outdoor area and indoor area combo. The indoor area consist a variety of 3D backdrops for you to take photos with. But when I visited Heritage Palace I just buy the Outdoor area tickets so I cannot give any reviews for the Indoor area.
Honestly, the outdoor area was enough for me. The outdoor area did not just consist the facade of the Sugar Factory Building, but also consist of several vintage cars collection that you could take photos with. Although maybe most people visit Heritage Palace just for taking photos, this building turns out to have a really great history to learn. Then you can choose to purchase a complete ticket or an outdoor ticket only. The outdoor ticket would cost you IDR 35K and permit you to take a stroll outside the 3D-transportation museum..
It is quite hot when you go there before 5pm. There are some places you can use as background for your pictures, but honestly for IDR 35K it is quite pricey. For educational purposes, I would more recommend the De Tjolomadoe sugar factory..
We did purchase the outdoor ticket only, thus I cannot rate the 3d and transportation museum.
