This is the cleanest and the finest beach compared to the two beaches we had visited in Bali in previous days. The sand was white, small and smooth, no rocks and garbages around the seaside, the water clean and transparant, it looked green at the left part of the beach and blue everywhere, it was a nice blue in the eyes. It is a bay actually. Not quite wide, since the beach itself was walled with two hills in the right and left side. The local man told me, people used to visited this beach from the left side, parked their vehicles at the top of the hill and walked down thru the stairs to the beach, but in 2017 the village govt, open the new channel, thru the Bukit Asah, left down to the vast parking lot, near the new (?) Pura. So now, everybody can park really close with the beach and use no stairs at all. Many traditional boat parked, and yes this beach usually to be their traditional port. Now, there are stalls, welcoming guests that visited the beach, many shops. Some foreigners i saw swam at the beach, with their little children. No, big wave around, so i guess, this beach fitted for family. They can swim safety. But i saw no guards here, yet. No watching tower too, no flag side that we used to see in Kuta or in Pangandaran, red flag means dengreous area, So, I think, if somebody need help, cant swim or drown, the people here will run to help since they are farmers. They could swim, right? Not yet signs for evacuation route, meeting/assembly point, if we have catastropic events, such earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruption, etc. You can reach the virgin beach in Karangasam, just side by side with Bukit Asah Bugbug Camping Ground. You take the left side of asphalt when you reached the peak of the hill, go down, and you will find a vast parking lot made of concreats blocks and a Pura. You will see a lot of coconut trees around, and colourful traditional boats anchored. We were rented a beach umbrella with two lazy chairs from a shop there, only for Rp100k, that price including two fresh coconuts, and free for toilet and shower. It was cheap i think, an affordable price value. But unfortunetely we only brought limited cash, and in here, we couldnt barely connected with internet, so we couldnt do any digital payment, such mobile bank transfer or else.

**Review of Snorkeling at Virgin Beach** Snorkeling at Virgin Beach is a captivating experience that immerses you in the vibrant underwater world of Bali. This hidden gem, located near the village of Candidasa, offers crystal-clear waters, abundant marine life, and a tranquil atmosphere perfect for a snorkeling adventure. The waters at here are exceptionally clear, providing excellent visibility for snorkelers. The pristine conditions make it easy to observe the colorful coral reefs and the diverse marine species that inhabit the area. Virgin Beach is home to a variety of marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, and vibrant coral formations. The reefs are teeming with life, and snorkelers can expect to see parrotfish, clownfish, and many other species. The abundance and diversity of marine life make each snorkeling session unique and exciting. Reaching Virgin Beach involves a scenic drive through Bali's lush landscapes, followed by a short walk down to the beach. The journey adds to the adventure, and the relatively secluded location ensures a peaceful experience, away from the more crowded tourist spots. You have to pay a fee at the gate but its worth every cent! While Virgin Beach is more remote, there are a few local vendors offering equipment rentals, snacks, and drinks. The lack of large-scale development helps preserve the natural beauty and tranquility of the area, though it means you should come prepared with your own snorkeling gear if you prefer. Snorkeling at Virgin Beach is a must-do activity for anyone visiting Bali. The combination of clear waters, rich marine life, and a serene setting creates an unforgettable underwater adventure. Whether you're an experienced snorkeler or a beginner, Virgin Beach offers a perfect spot to explore Bali's underwater wonders and enjoy a peaceful day by the sea.

I went to this Fisherman Kitchen, the restaurant selling around RP 250k for the fish, I think this is best roasted fish I tried. The beach ⛱️ quite dirty this time, really a lot of rubbish like plastic, I WARN you all people please don't throw ice-cream plastic or even Indomie plastic here. Unfortunately this time dirty. Before I came it was clean. It has good working WiFi, I like here because I work remotely, so I bring my laptop and there is table for me to work. Definitely a lot sexy girls here but please concentrate in swimming only. Overall my bill for four persons would be RP 650k. You can enjoy whole day here without limit This is how I spend my time as digital nomad in Bali. Can follow my Instagram @andersonrecipe. On the right hand side, there is a place up the hill, just around 10min distance from virgin beach. That place if you want to do camping and bring your own set, you rent only RP 34k per night but if you stay at theirs will cost RP 340k per night. No internet, no line, back to nature. But I can tell you will be great adventure. I realise people bring own food there and barbeque themselves. There are some parking lots there. *I'm talking about another place nearby virgin beach.

Before getting to the beach, if the weather is good, you'll see Mount Agung clearly. The entrance ticket is Rp 10k. You'll get free parking lot, and free toilet. If you want to rent sunbeds they're available along the beaches. The beach was clear and there were not many tourists coming here at 10 am - 3 pm. You can do snorkeling in here by renting a mask which about Rp 25k-50k. You'll find plenty of beautiful fish, many dory fish, big corals, even seal face puffer by swimming about 100-200 meters from the beach. WARNING: please be careful of sea snakes, I found about 3 of them with different types: the black and white stripes, yellow and black stripes, also the small one with brown and black types. As long you don't swim near them or threat them, it will be fine. After all, it was great experience coming here.

Don't go to sea breeze cafe, the first cafe on the left as you go to the beach, its a rip off with extremely poor service. There are plenty of options in cafe available. 5 stars for the clear beach and the blue shades of water. Its normally not so crowded but the beach is small in size so it may get crowded on a holiday. You can spend a good enough time relaxing on the beach. You wont get to see the sunset or sunrise here as the beach is circled by mountains on both sides. Plenty of sun during the day otherwise. Not good for surfing as the waves are not so strong but hence good for swimming. You can get your own stuff and lay peacefully on beach as there is ample space available. You need to pay 30k as entrance fee when you enter from the hilly side up from road side before Candidasa. Would go back again.

Unbelievable, how such beautiful and iconic place is being destroyed by local people. Tons of garbage in the sea, some people float with it - everything is there: used electric bulbs, styrofoam, plastic bags, rubber, food leftovers. This is not the tourist trash, this is local trash that again proves that Balinese people are going to destroy their paradise. I really hope that soon there won’t be any tourists here so the local people will finally open their eyes and start to respect what they have. A lot of bars with umbrellas and beds, almost no customers so every bar employee will approach you and try to sell something. Coconut 25k, which is comparable to price in center of Ubud, while they have coconuts here in place. Food quite expensive. Entrance fee was 10k per person.
