This is the cleanest and the finest beach compared to the two beaches we had visited in Bali in previous days.
The sand was white, small and smooth, no rocks and garbages around the seaside, the water clean and transparant, it looked green at the left part of the beach and blue everywhere, it was a nice blue in the eyes. It is a bay actually. Not quite wide, since the beach itself was walled with two hills in the right and left side.
The local man told me, people used to visited this beach from the left side, parked their vehicles at the top of the hill and walked down thru the stairs to the beach, but in 2017 the village govt, open the new channel, thru the Bukit Asah, left down to the vast parking lot, near the new (?) Pura. So now, everybody can park really close with the beach and use no stairs at all.
Many traditional boat parked, and yes this beach usually to be their traditional port. Now, there are stalls, welcoming guests that visited the beach, many shops. Some foreigners i saw swam at the beach, with their little children. No, big wave around, so i guess, this beach fitted for family. They can swim safety.
But i saw no guards here, yet. No watching tower too, no flag side that we used to see in Kuta or in Pangandaran, red flag means dengreous area, So, I think, if somebody need help, cant swim or drown, the people here will run to help since they are farmers. They could swim, right? Not yet signs for evacuation route, meeting/assembly point, if we have catastropic events, such earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruption, etc.
You can reach the virgin beach in Karangasam, just side by side with Bukit Asah Bugbug Camping Ground. You take the left side of asphalt when you reached the peak of the hill, go down, and you will find a vast parking lot made of concreats blocks and a Pura.
You will see a lot of coconut trees around, and colourful traditional boats anchored.
We were rented a beach umbrella with two lazy chairs from a shop there, only for Rp100k, that price including two fresh coconuts, and free for toilet and shower. It was cheap i think, an affordable price value. But unfortunetely we only brought limited cash, and in here, we couldnt barely connected with internet, so we couldnt do any digital payment, such mobile bank...

Read moreI went to this Fisherman Kitchen, the restaurant selling around RP 250k for the fish, I think this is best roasted fish I tried. The beach ⛱️ quite dirty this time, really a lot of rubbish like plastic, I WARN you all people please don't throw ice-cream plastic or even Indomie plastic here. Unfortunately this time dirty. Before I came it was clean. It has good working WiFi, I like here because I work remotely, so I bring my laptop and there is table for me to work. Definitely a lot sexy girls here but please concentrate in swimming only. Overall my bill for four persons would be RP 650k. You can enjoy whole day here without limit
This is how I spend my time as digital nomad in Bali. Can follow my Instagram @andersonrecipe.
On the right hand side, there is a place up the hill, just around 10min distance from virgin beach. That place if you want to do camping and bring your own set, you rent only RP 34k per night but if you stay at theirs will cost RP 340k per night. No internet, no line, back to nature. But I can tell you will be great adventure. I realise people bring own food there and barbeque themselves. There are some parking lots there. *I'm talking about another place nearby...
